I took my mini digger to 2 places prior, both of which failed to repair my machine. I was recommended to phoenix by a friend. I turned up, within the hour they had diagnosed the problem, they then sourced my parts and had it fixed same day. Great service, very reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to others. Thanks for the work guys!

Reluctant to leave this review but everyday just finding new things wrong.
Sent my jcb in for a engine rebuild, initially everything sounded amazing hence the drive from Birmingham to Burnley, 5 day job turned into nearly 1 month which is fine because there was problems along the way, went and picked it up, everything seemed fine and engine sounded amazing, first time use there was a secondary oil fill cap left loose so was losing oil everywhere, lucky we found it. Then machine started over heating and cutting out, upon inspection the radiator was completely dry after we got charged for coolant/anti freeze.
Contacted Steve and he said bring it straight back up and he would fix it. I have since got the machine back but I just keep on finding problems so straight away a water leak, that I had to fix, secondly when I checked the radiator there was no coolant just the water I sent it up there with. So I’m struggling to see how they stripped the engine back down to check for any damage caused by engine over heating if it still has the water in I put in to get it on to trailer. Engine now smokes a little bit so I am not 100% confident I have a newly reconditioned engine.
Also I have just come to adjust the bonnet on the machine as this needed adjusting before Steve had touched it, but we have just come to do it and when the lads have put it back on (after they taken it off) I have found snapped bolts, the rollers (that are expensive from jcb) some in and some missing,
So now I’m in a worse predicament I was before he worked on the machine.
overall I am really disappointed after spending 2 and a half thousand pound and a machine that I’m still not confident in.
Just to add that I paid in full and was happy with the price for a good job. I just feel they take on way too much work and rush to get them finished.
Again I would contact Steve to get the machine looked over again but I just can’t bare yet another trip up to Burnley, and I have also lost confidence at this point. I’m currently going to find another engineer/mechanic to look over this machine and if any damage is found to engine from the over heating I will be looking into retrieving my money back from Steve which ever way we have to, I have been really understanding up to this point

TAKE THIS FROM A MAN WHO RUNS A HIGHLY RESPECTABLE COMPANY, ACTING LIKE THIS MAY MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER IN THE SHORT TERM BUT DOWN THE LINE WILL AFFECT YOUR BUSINESS MASSIVELY.

as you can see in Steve's edit, apparently another unhappy customer has “threatened” them, you have left false reviews anyone can feel free to check the timings we left our genuine review and then when we started receiving false reviews from fake accounts on Google. The machine didn’t go out on hire and you haven’t paid anyone for our time. Stop lying. It’s such a shame coming from a business that could be great. You are the problem in your business and like I said you can see everyone knows what they are doing, just a shame the owner is a con so sad. like I said I will be having the machine checked over and I will then be taking what ever action is necessary if the machine is damaged, professionally.

I have since been black mailed by Steve from a so called “good will gesture” I have found out they blanket ALL invoices with, to use to intimidate and bully potential unhappy customers as they then try retract it back and threaten legal action on a good will gesture non of us ask for! if reviews aren’t removed. Please see screen shots.
I will not be removing my review, and I will not be bullied or intimidated.
They even threaten police action on a civil dispute, they are crazy!

I had a terrible experience. I dropped off my machine for a quick hitch fitting, a service, and to replace a safety switch on the armrest. When I went to pick it up, I was told that the aux hydraulics and boom slew weren’t working, and that I needed a new ECU quoting me thousands. However, these features were working perfectly when I dropped the machine off.
I took it to another company, and it turned out the safety switch wasn’t even wired correctly, causing the hydraulics to remain active at all times. The ECU was fine— the real issue was poor wiring carried out by phoenix, which had been messed up, affecting the machine's features. The owner was aggressive when collecting the machine and the lack of skill and knowledge was appalling. Would advise anyone to go elsewhere.

I have nothing to gain from this review other than helping other people. I didn't have a budget and never asked for a price (lesson learnt), I did supply a full service kit and brand new tefra hydraulic hitch with fitting kit and instructions.
The faulty safety switch made all hydraulics jitter but if nothing worked how would I have tracked the machine onto my trailer and off into your yard. I did not try to run anyone over and paid before leaving after owner got aggressive.

Called up explained my issues was 10am, said bring micro digger down for diagnostic, was a pressure valve and a simple fix and had me sorted all in the same day ***** highly recommend

Doesn’t include fixing the damage you caused though does it…… incompetent engineers and an abusive and owner that just simply won’t fix what they come out to repair.
And to boot the engineer smashed the windscreen (which was repaired) but won’t come to fix the damaged forklift controls till we pay the full bill for the work they haven’t yet carried out !!!
