We wanted to add a downstairs toilet and utility room to our house and asked friends and colleagues if they could recommend a good reliable builder. We also looked at some of the websites for local builders. We chose Paul Ennis having listened to various people and from the portfolio of work on the website. Paul and his architects came and meet my wife and I to look at the work we needed and discuss options. From then on in we knew we were in safe hands and were confident that we would get the build we wanted. What we didn't expect was to be blown away with what Paul and his team came up with. It was beyond what we thought was possible. From the architect plans which were stunning to personal service we received could not be faulted. The dates in the contract were all met on schedule and the workmen we had from November to March were great. We could not recommend Paul and his company more highly. Thanks to all the team.

We worked with Mark from the architectural team to plan and design a single storey extension to the back of our house. Mark was always very pleasant, came up with great ideas which we went through together, and was quick to answer any queries.

Paul and his team completed a superb conservatory extension which more than met our expectations.

Paul and the team have recently completed our rear single storey extension, as well as other internal works / re-modelling. From the outset, we were impressed by Paul’s experience and approachability. We were able to go through the proposed works in a constructive and flexible way.

The works started exactly when planned, and we were impressed at the amount of tradesmen on site getting the job done. As with any build, when any issues did crop up, Paul and the team were always contactable – even at unsociable hours.

We were impressed at the desire to get the job done the right way, not just to get it done and move on to the next job. If anything was not to our liking, it was dealt with quickly and without any fuss. It is clear that Paul has a shared desire to get the finished result to the best it can be.

We had a lot of contact with Mick, as project manager, who went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with things and he did a brilliant job on the tiling in particular. In all, we met many of the tradesmen and to their credit all of them were friendly, approachable and customer focused.

When the project was nearing completion, Paul was happy to meet us to go through any snagging issues and there is a real sense that as one of their customers you are always looked after. Overall, we are so pleased with how the build went, and the most importantly – the end result.

Mark Evered (architect) kindly came out to our property and was such a nice and knowledgeable chap. He was able to fully interpret our scope of works into a plan and coordinate the structural elements/drawings ready for building regs submission. I wouldn't hesitate to use their service again.

We had a conservatory, it is the old story too hot in summer too cold in winter. We wanted a permanent structure to replace it and at the same time create a more open plan area between the kitchen and dining room.
Paul Ennis did a survey and drew up plans for us.
We liked what they proposed and chose them to do the work. They managed the whole process from start to finish, including dealing with the local authority planning department. They drew up a planned programme of work and gave us a fixed quote.
The team were really great, friendly and helpful. The project manager (Marty) discussed options with us and kept us informed of progress. With an old house like ours there were bound to be some difficulties, but they offered solutions and were always positive and didn’t add to the cost.
Always someone on site every day, despite having to work round some pretty rough weather. The job was finished on time and on budget. The house is now improved so much for the work they did, and excellent quality workmanship. Thanks to the whole team who worked on our project. If we ever do anything extensive again, we know who would be first on our list to contact.

We had a conservatory replaced by a new orangery plus a refitted kitchen and pantry so it was a big job for us. Paul and his team were extremely professional, skilled, helpful and friendly throughout the whole process from design, through to build and all the interior work and final touches, including landscaping around the new orangery.

At every stage of the work, the site manager or a member of the team arrived first thing every morning, without fail - which was very reassuring. Everyone was always very happy to listen to our thoughts and to offer their own suggestions to optimise the final result which we are extremely happy with. It is fantastic.

Every effort was made to minimise disruption to us throughout the job, including sealing off a temporary kitchen at the beginning of the job, and ensuring that we always had use of sink and washing machine facilities.

We are delighted with the work that was done by Paul Ennis and his team and strongly recommend them.

We engaged the Paul Ennis Group to carry out a single storey extension and complete renovation of a much neglected cottage style house which had been vacant for a few years.

Paul Ennis undertook absolutely everything from the drawing up of the plans to the building works and landscaping of the garden. Paul personally offered very sound advice and guidance throughout.
