PCDS were responsible for acting as Project Managers for a 2yr refurbishment of our family home.

I have used PCDS for various house projects and have always been most impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of John Paul Murphy. He has real vision and I would thoroughly recommend him on any future building project. His detailed approach and no-nonsense advice has always served me well. I reached out to PCDS with a view of having a basic survey on our new house to see if we needed any structural work done. They said they were in the area and could pop by to give me a quote. The consultant stayed about 20 minutes or less, then said he would be in touch. I got an email with a few paragraphs basically outlining information what our architects plans gave him. He then sent us a bill for £255 plus VAT (3 hours work). Make sure you are clear with them before you have them on your property or you will be liable to play what ever they feel like charging for a basic write up.

I was recommended John by a retiring Structural Engineer. John was quickly able to offer his services following advice given in our Building Survey on the structural stability of a property we were purchasing. John inspected the property and conducted a thorough report on what he found, reassuring us that we should proceed with the purchase. He was a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to get in touch if I had any structural issues in the future.
