We visited the David Wilson Homes sales office at Clipstone Park during their clearly advertised opening hours. The office was empty, yet the sales advisor told us it was “appointment only” and made us feel like we weren’t welcome. Her tone was cold and dismissive, and the interaction left us feeling judged and uncomfortable.

That attitude changed only after it became clear we were interested in a high-value plot and financially able to proceed. Suddenly, the tone flipped — but by then, the damage was done.

To be fair, the male staff member present was polite and professional throughout, and we appreciated his manner. But overall, the experience left us feeling deflated and unwelcome.

If this is how you're treated before spending over half a million pounds, it raises serious concerns about the service after. First-time buyers would likely find the experience even more off-putting.

We’ve chosen to walk away.
