Create a single storey 8mx8m box on back of our 3-bed house in Bishop's Stortford. We had been putting off the work as we feared the disruption. Matt Aubrey, his daughter and the rest of the team made it as easy as it could have ever been. Communication and responsiveness were great, spreadsheet shared by Matt each Friday for review before payment, with % completion. Fantastic, loyal and responsive subcontractors who seem to like working for Matt. I really appreciated Matt buffering us from stresses on site, he always appeared confident that everything would be OK. We lived through most of the build on-site, and most of the time we were working from home as the build started during lockdowns. Matt was even enthusiastic to complete the garden landscaping which most house builders don't want to be bothered with. This made all the difference. Can't thank you enough. We love the huge space created and it's a favourite for parties as well as for relaxing. As Matt anticipated when we first met him, this extension has transformed how we live in our home. Thank you.

Aubrey Homes completed a full refurbishment and new internal layout at our home in Hertfordshire. Matt and Tash were excellent from our first meeting and throughout the project with clear communication and invoicing. They understood what we were trying to achieve and would find solutions and suggest options where needed. We were particularly impressed with the care taken to retain and put back original features that we wanted to keep - Tom in particular was fantastic and really cares about his work and getting the right end result for you. Any problems encountered (and you always expect to encounter some with a large project) were dealt with quickly and even after completion, Matt has returned to resolve any snagging issues. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aubrey homes and would use them again - if we ever tackle another renovation!

Aubrey Homes undertook a single and double story extension and complete refurbishment of our home in Welwyn Garden City. We cannot recommend their work highly enough; they provided us with exceptional service and demonstrated their integrity and built trust with us from day one.

We had not undertaken a building project on this scale before and so the process was quite new to us. From the very start of the tendering exercise, what appealed to us was the friendly nature of the team and their willingness to answer our many questions. This ensured the quotation and build schedule was correct and we knew exactly what was included, which was very important for our budgeting. Their quote is clearly set out and easy to track as work progresses.

We were welcome to visit site to check on progress as often as we liked and each stage payment was only requested once works had been completed. Our build schedule was six months and everything was actually completed one week early and on budget.

All the tradespeople working for Aubrey Homes were friendly and approachable and each highly experienced in their respective trades. As a result, we have been extremely pleased with the high standard of finish provided throughout our home.

We enjoyed working with this family business who demonstrated their efficiency and integrity throughout. Matt managed our project and his experience and ‘can do’ attitude is why everything happened when it should have. Tash provided fantastic support, ensuring all supplies were to our specification and delivered to site on time. After completion, she even chased us to provide a list of any snagging items - a service you don’t expect in the building industry!

In summary, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose Aubrey Homes again and continue to recommend them to others. Thanks again!
