Dreadful company. Have no clue what they are doing. Work in cahoots with the likes of Sedgewick. Their poorly maintained equipment keeps breaking down.. Cowboys through and through.

Absolute thieves and liars. After a house fire we were told they would take everything back to their depot clean and salvage what they could etc. and anything that wasn't salvageable they would let us know and we would have the option to take it back or not. So we were actively encouraged not to try and save or take anything with us apart from passports etc. Straight away they put everything in a skip. Things that were completely untouched by fire, smoke or water from the hoses, all in the skip (if not taken home with them). Made our losses so much worse than it should have been and when questioned they just answer "we have to trust our experts" and that's the end of it.

They charged a ridiculous amount for their services, which come off your total payout from the insurance with no means to question it. The few items they did take to the depot we were then charged extortionate amounts for them to "check" with a PAT test once they had them so basically held to ransom. PAT tested less than 20 items like lamps etc and charged over £1500 for it.

They were meant to have a dehumidifier in the house they said within 5 days, took them over 5 weeks.

When we finally got what little they did save back things were damaged. They cut through pipes for the washing machine and dryer where it was only one screw needed to remove properly leading to the need for a plumber. For the small job the plumber did we used the exact plumber they sent out but bypassed polygon. The plumber charged us £186, polygon were wanting close to £900 for the job.

I could keep going as there is more to say but will end it here. Absolutely nothing good to say about our experience. Terrible company.

Despite spending over £900 to find a leak for up to 8 hrs, after exposing it ( tidily) within 6 hours they insisted on charging an extra £132 to fit a push fit join between 2 pipes which probably cost them about £2. Greedy company

Had this company forced on us by Admiral insurance after house fire. Appalling attitude, just want to bin everything. No respect for our feelings or our property. Unbelievably slow....house still not cleaned or emptied.
Constantly complaining and moaning about what is needed to be done, documented and moved. We have hasd to move some items ourselves as their attitude left us that worried that items will either be destroyed without our permission because they deemed that they 'not worth the effort ' or 'may be damaged ' during the move. Even our own loss assessors are disgusted with them.

Would never ever go near this company again. Cowboys is to good a word to describe them. Poisonous material left in property causing burns to myself. Trying to sweep this under the carpet but we are taking advice. Personal property missing the list is endless. Advice is stay away from this shambolic company

My experience is mixed . The engineer Tyler arrived on time and very polite . Located a leak within the hour as it was only a blanking joint that was the culprit. I took him to the local plumbers merchants in my car he asked me to pay for the part which was £ 1.49 p which was fine . We then drove back to
My house when it took less than 2 minutes to fit . And hopefully the loss of pressure to our new heating system was solved . Moving on 24 hours I received a phone call from polygon asking for payment for the repair at wait for it some £82 which I told the lady on the phone don’t be ridiculous as I had taken there engineer to the plumbing shop and had paid for the part they have got to be joking . I said you should tell your customers first as I had offered to call my own plumber to fit this part but the engineer said he would do it .polygon then said they will speak with there engineer and get back to me which they did . The guy said he was there northern branch manager as the the southern manager was of sick . He then was adamant I had to pay the £82 and was one of the most obnoxious rude people you would want to do any business with . I explained again what happened and was then given a load of verbal abuse and he put the phone down on me . I then duly informed my insurers Direct Line who were very apologetic and said I was insured for the repair and should never have been asked for this RIP OF PAYMENT . This company is a complete joke and and a money grabbing company in my opinion and I suggest your very careful if you use them . There are others and I suggest you use them and not get ripped off . There engineer was ok though .

Had Guy from polygon Edinburgh out after Escape off water, Couldn't fault him , talked me through every step and was very helpful, more than I can say about the other company , which will be named and shamed very shortly...very poor service from them, watch out guys when your dealing with insurance claims. . ..they take your money year in and year out, but if damage happens which nobody wants at any time , but getting money from them is a nightmare. ..once again they will be named and shamed, top marks to polygon for their high standard of customer care
