One time, when I brought my friends over to show them the house, which was still awaiting completion, I ran into Corralie near the site. Despite being busy, she took the time to chat with us and even went back to the office to get the keys so I could show my friends the interior. Their willingness to go the extra mile truly made a difference. Additionally, they consistently demonstrated dedication and commitment, ensuring all our concerns were addressed promptly and thoroughly. Their support has been invaluable throughout the entire process.
Waisum at the front office truly stands out as one of the nicest people I've encountered in the realm of new builds. Among the many front offices I've visited—spanning across eight different developers—Waisum's warmth and professionalism shine brightly. Not only does Waisum bring a genuine friendliness to every interaction, but also provides exceptional support and assistance, making the whole experience much more pleasant and stress-free. It's rare to find such a perfect blend of kindness and efficiency, and Waisum sets a high standard that others should aspire to.
Reflecting on the new home demonstration meeting, it was an overwhelmingly positive experience. The thorough walkthrough of the property provided a comprehensive understanding of all the features and functionalities. The presenter’s detailed explanations and clear answers to any questions were especially helpful. The professionalism and friendliness throughout the session made it not only informative but also enjoyable. It's reassuring to see such a high level of attention to detail and customer care. Overall, a very satisfying and confidence-inspiring meeting.
The interior plaster and paint finish appeared rushed, lacking the same level of care and craftsmanship evident in the rest of the house. It seemed as though the attention to detail and the pride in workmanship that were present elsewhere were missing in this area. This disparity stood out, making the interior finish feel somewhat unfinished and not up to the same standard as the other areas. A more meticulous approach could have brought everything together harmoniously, enhancing the overall quality and feel of the home.

Neil Kentfield has been an exceptional site manager, consistently demonstrating a high level of professionalism and commitment. His dedication to ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently has not gone unnoticed. Neil's ability to manage the complexities of the site with precision and care has been truly impressive. He is approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Cala to anyone considering a new home, especially the exceptional team at Hampton Lakes in Peterborough. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in every detail of the process.

The sales team, Coralie, John and Heather are superstars!
We felt very welcome from the very start. Nothing was a problem and everything was customer focussed. Yes they have a sales job to do, but it was never pushy and everything was done with honesty and transparency. If they couldn’t do something they would say, but alternatives were given, so technically nothing was a no.
Every time we spoke whether it be by phone, email or face to face we had excellent communication and humour thrown in. Yes buying and selling houses is stressful. Yes moving into a new build is going to have issues, but after sales and the site manager Rob is brilliant. There is a lot they have to contend with outside of our requests and we have utter faith that things will be sorted. Buyers need to understand the processes of building a house and not everything will go to plan, but after lead times with suppliers any problems will get fixed.
We are really happy with the quality of the build overall and the whole feel of the development.
This is my third new build. My first was great quality too, my second was awful and the site team at that development was incompetent to be polite!
Any decorative issues here are exactly that and to be honest I can sort those when it comes round to decorating.
I can’t recommend Cala enough and the A Team in the sales centre are second to none!

I bought a cala home and I am utterly disappointed with not only the quality but the workmanship also. My home has such a poor quality finish to the inside and outside. Drains at the front and rear of the garden that are off plan and we’re not originally in the plans that I signed to. Breached several terms of our agreement and according to NHQC. Interior was a poor finish, still had pencil all over the walls and has taken over 2 months to Rectify. Back garden also floods. 1 member of sales staff was rude, obnoxious & lied about several things also. Very unhappy from start to finish and have paid almost £300,000 for a home that is no where near up to standard. Builders let themselves in at 7:30am whilst I’m in the home also without knocking so be careful with any works being carried out after moving in.

As this company apparently do not employ staff to follow-up on voicemail/telephone messages [two (2) were left on tyeir advertised numbers] and equally do not take name & address details of 'walk-in' potential buyers, Customer Service skills are - I presume? - not taught, but obviously are not part of the Sales Staff job description.

Suffice to say for me debating to spend the best part of 1/2 million £'s is not going to happen. Am I the 1st to make this comment? How many other potential customers have simarily suffered?!

If you are going to sell in competition to all the other 'big builder boys'" at this Cambridgeshire location, then at least act the part 😣

Hampton Lakes is the new area under development by CALA Homes. This will be a nice area to settle down,with lots of walking routes and lakes there will be lots of Wild life to see
