It's very nice to have a walk along the canal. There's a good amount of public benches to sit on. It's usually peaceful, especially on a warm sunny day. The area is kept pretty clean. Even when walking past the food and drinks outlets, there's no rowdiness, everyone looks chilled out, no shouting, fighting etc..not like the old days.

Home of ITV and the BBC canal walks down to media city or you can nip on the tram. Walk down the quay side see all the restaurant and bars. A fusion of a diverse city very friendly

I love it and it feels like a mini New York. The summer is particularly great walking and sitting around the water is just great. I would say to any local of Manchester or tourist to visit Media City. The tram stop is there so not much waling to do and lots of eateries or just get a sandwich and take in the views. You can even take a boat trip.

Was a nice place but they need to fix the lights and clean the rubbish, it use to be really clean well maintained 2 years ago, use to come often but now its no where near as good as it use to be, definitely declined over the years and isnt the same as it use to be, dont get the same relaxing vibes as it use to be and its not been maintained for months sad how such a nice place has gone down in less than 2 years

We visited on 14/09/24. Really enjoyed our visit. Luckily we had decent weather! Parked in the multi storey car park which was reasonable priced, less than ÂŖ10 for the 7 hours we were there. Very nice to walk around looking over Salford Quays. Plenty of restaurants and bars for any taste and budget. After our meal we had a night time walk around and it's very picturesque with the building lighting. Definitely worth a visit if up that way
