The poor customer service in some of the stores here does this otherwise great retail park a huge disservice.

JD Sports and Sport Direct have some of the worst / lowest rated customer service that I also personally experienced.

Outside of that, in terms of useful stores, this is one of the best retail parks in Manchester. The Sainsbury's, JD Gyms and bargain stores like Home Bargains and Poundland are the highlight of this retail park. It would be perfect if it had a post office within it.

The parking timer is up to 3 hours and there are a wide range of essential stores around to keep you busy.

That Regent Retail Park is not the commercial success once hoped for is borne out by two key facts:

1) Three of the eleven main units are occupied by charity shops selling second-hand goods – Cancer Research UK, YMCA and the Children's Air Ambulance -

and

2) The owners of the freehold intend not to renew the commercial leases when they expire in 2026. Instead, they have submitted a planning application to demolish the entire retail park except the large Sainbury's supermarket, which will survive the wrecking ball, and replace all the other shops with a massive residential development of 3,300 dwellings, including a 70-storey skyscraper, which will be the tallest in the entire country outside of London.

Meanwhile, the commercial shops soldiering on until the bulldozers move in are TK Maxx, Poundland, Pets At Home, Home Bargains, Sports Direct, Boots, JD Gyms, JD Sports, Costa Coffee and a Sainsbury's petrol station. The Sainsbury's supermarket itself is interesting in that one of its two ATMs dispenses both euros and US dollars.

It's ok at least they have Argos inside of Sainsbury's. TKMaxx for fans of the store. The charity shops are big stores.

It wasn't busy but to be honest there just isn't much to do. Not many shops to visit. I only go now and again as most things can be bought online
