James was extremely knowledgeable in his job as every problem I had was answered with a straight forward solution. His employees that attended my property were very friendly, comical and courteous at all times. Builders are, by there nature, messy but they managed to keep the mess to a minimum. I wouldn't hesitate contacting him for any future projects.

I had an excellent experience with JEH Building Services Ltd! From start to finish, they were top-notch. They adhered to their time commitments, completing two major projects within the agreed timeframe, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was seamless, with James who was always readily available to discuss details and address any questions I had.
The team was incredibly friendly, professional, and hardworking. They went above and beyond, ensuring everything was tidy and clearing away all the rubbish once the project was completed. Gemma in customer service was also a standout, always friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout the process. I was also pleased that we didn’t upset the neighbours during this time - she said the builders were very polite and tidy!
The quality of work exceeded my expectations, leaving me truly satisfied with the results. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend JEH Building Services Ltd to anyone in need of quality construction services! We just wanted to say thank you to you James and the lads for the great work done over the last 3 weeks at the house. The end product is as good as you promised and the journey has been a pleasure and stress free!

Thanks for your response.
I understand your position, but respectfully disagree with you assessment.
The charge of £400 reflects the time required to properly complete this job to a high standard.

I completed more than half of the job as initially quoted, but midway through, there were additional requests that weren’t discussed at the outset. I was willing to accommodate these changes, but the situation quickly became frustrating as you wanted these additionals to be free of charge.

Despite multiple trips to the site (three in total), I was unable to complete any meaningful work because the job was not prepared on time, as I had been promised. This wasted both my time and resources.

On top of this, I was not compensated for the work I did complete nor for the materials I purchased for the job out of my own pocket. To be clear, I took on the cost of these materials personally, which is extremely unprofessional and disappointing, especially as I had fulfilled my side of the agreement.

Overall, this experience has been a letdown. It's unacceptable to have workers go above and beyond, only to be left unpaid for both labour and materials. I hope this feedback leads to more professionalism in future dealings.

Everyone’s heard a builder nightmare story, that’s why we met with a total of 9 builders before choosing one that we were confident in, and that was JH Building Services. James was refreshingly sincere and friendly, and he came across more professional than the rest in discussion about our building project. It was a complete renovation on our house so a lot was involved. His team carried out the work faster than expected and we’re very happy with the result. JH’s plumber George was brilliant; particularly happy with all the plumbing and bathroom renovations and Gemma at the office was the friendly voice on the phone that always answered our calls and chased up our questions with James and the team, communication was excellent every step of the way.
