This company CRC is set in traditional high standards from start to finish. The thoroughness of the estimates, giving us a wide choice, the organisation and communication were so reassuring we had no hesitation to go ahead with our solar installation with CRC. On the day of installation the scaffolding team were excellent and the CRC team were a pleasure to deal with and to watch the professional way each one went about their particular role in the installation was again so reassuring. Clean, tidy, professional and respectful to us and each other. The system itself is more than we expected and we are two very very happy customers. Highly recommend

From initial contact through to no pressure quotation followed by timely installation CRC were absolutely fantastic. Their follow up service was great. Phone / e-mail assistance and advice on how to set up the battery storage system provided with a personal touch. A year after installation I had a question which they answered on the same day. After many hours of research and meetings we finally decided to use CRC as they were knowledgeable, had excellent reviews and offered a superb package for all our needs.
We chose to have 22 x Jinko 435W panels, 1 x Givenergy 13.5W AIO, I x Whole Home Gateway and 1 x Growatt 8000 Inverter (which we later changed to as 10000 Inverter) plus bird guard and all accessories which were all installed over a year ago now. We waited until we had tried and tested them before leaving any reviews.
In the beginning there we a few little problems that were swiftly sorted out by CRC and one larger problem that was handled by Givenergy (replacement Gateway as the older models had a tendency to flip the fuses on a power cut).
So all I can say is what a brilliant team and a great investment. It takes some reading and experimentation to get up to speed but FB has a few excellent groups dedicated to Givenergy with many contributors actual employees.
So for the first year we paid no electric at all and made enough money to purchase a years worth of oil for heating etc. From the figures I've worked out we should break even within 4/5 years, but probably sooner with the cost of electric ever rising...
As always a big thanks to Christian and Lucy, the team and especially Emma, who always seems to get any problems fixed asap!

Saw CRC advertised on FB had been looking for solar for ages, so gave them a call. No pushy sales pitch, very pleasant & accommodating from the start. Did the survey, sent the plan through in a timely manner, agreed. Only down side was they are so busy I had to wait a few weeks for installation!! 🙂 Installation team turned up on time, they were all very polite, cleaned as they went along, fully explained the system. We had 22 panels and a battery fitted, it was all completed in about 6 hours i think it was. Looking at my octopus usage app i could see our consumption from the grid dropped by 50% in a day! Now obsessed by watching my consumption in the app. Now just trying to work out the best settings and tariff to use. Would highly recommend CRC from start to finish.

We had just solar panels and storage battery. fitted to our house what can I say. It has been such a pleasure to use CRC. They explained what and when every would happen and went like clockwork. So efficient have all ready recommended to a neighbour who is also having a install in the near future.
The panels have been symmetrically placed on the roof and look great.

The initial quote was thorough and the price quoted was very competitive, we never felt under pressure even whilst waiting for a Development Certificate from the local council (we live in a Conservation Area). The complete system was fitted in a day by Ethan, Callum and Bart who worked hard and despite an issue with the battery (fixed a couple of days later) we are now up and running. Emma and Lillie in the office were always on hand to help and very efficient. Our daily electric bill has reduced to 1-2 pence a day and supplied the grid 35Kwh over the last week. Overall very happy!

I researched long and hard for my Solar and Battery installation, narrowing the field down to three companies. I selected CRC for a number of reasons: local, small company; excellent reputation/reviews; specification of products available; price.

The system (12 x Jinko 440W all black panels [with included bird guard], GivEnergy 5kW Inverter with a 9.5kW GivEnergy Battery) was installed neatly, quickly and with nothing being too much trouble. It was installed within about 5 hours from start to finish, with the job being done neatly with no mess left behind. The Scaffolding was installed by a local company the afternoon before and removed within 2 days. Again, with no fuss or mess left behind.

The system is performing well and exceeding expectations (I've only drawn 2kWh from the grid over the past 9 days!). Contact with Josh, the surveyor and project manager and the ladies in the office, Lillie and Emma, dealing with all the admin, certification, payment, etc has been efficient, courteous and speedy. All in all, a very pleasant experience and I could not recommend CRC more highly.
