A fabulous company. When I originally looked for the right people to do our extension I had three boxes to tick, firstly that it was of excellent standard, secondly that it was a realistic budget with no hidden spiralling costs and thirdly that the team who were going to spend months in my house were nice to deal with. Carlos and his team at Arena ticked every box and exceeded our expectations. Working alongside them was a joy, they did everything from design and build to introducing us to a range of suppliers for end products and fitting them. Along the way, they worked with us on decisions and changes, nothing was too much trouble, they even bought me lunch when I was ill! They have transformed our home and it was a brilliant, very positive experience. I would highly recommend.

Taking on major building work is always daunting but I feel so fortunate to have discovered Arena. I first used them in 2018 and they have just completed another huge project -there was never any question that I would use another company. From my fist meeting with Carlos, it was clear that he listened and understood exactly what I wanted and was so willing to make tweaks and changes as the concept developed.Nothing was too much trouble. As with any refurbishment, there are unforeseen challenges but Carlos and Marcel always found a solution and always with such good humour. They know that such an undertaking can be very stressful but they calmed my anxieties with such understanding and kindness.
I have absolute trust in their work and the end result is stunning and has transformed my home

Arena recently undertook a major remodelling project on our victorian cottage. Over a period of nine months they transformed it from an unworkable layout to a fantastic open plan space, which we can now enjoy living in. Carlos and his team are skilled, reliable, hard working and trustworthy. I would highly recommend them. Nothing is too much trouble. We are really pleased with the end results we achieved.

At the height of the pandemic we started a major remodelling on our house, basically demolishing everything aside from the front. We contracted Arena to design and build and we're so glad we did. They are a reliable, conscientious, hard working, friendly team of builders. From the outset of our project they turned up everyday, worked long hours and worked hard during that time until the build was completed. This was also noticed and remarked upon to us by some of our neighbours, who were impressed by the work ethic and standard of quality achieved. Thankfully Arena are very innovative in the face of any challenging circumstances, so despite Covid-19 and Brexit complications our build remained on track. Naturally with any major project there will be a few unforeseen issues, but these were promptly highlighted and options were discussed so we could make an informed decision. Both Carlos and Marcel will give you an honest opinion, not just tell you what you want to hear, so in doing that we felt we were able to make the right choices of finish and so achieved the best outcome for the design. The Arena team take pride in their work, they achieve a high end finish and clearly want their clients to be happy. We definitely are! We found the whole team to be friendly and easy to deal with. Since moving back into our home we've had a number of people positively remark on the light and space, design and quality of finish. Having opened up an old Victorian cottage into a contemporary layout one of our friends said that the house was now able to breathe, which actually sums up nicely what we now feel living here. Prior to embarking on our project the house wasn't working for us, with too many narrow rooms and an odd layout we were unable to get the best use of space. Through working with Carlos on the initial design we have maximised our living space, without compromising. Something I never believed was possible given the style of our house. In a nutshell we are extremely pleased with the standard of work and how it was conducted, we have no regrets and would highly recommend Arena if you are thinking of embarking on a similar project. Yes any building project is going to be highly stressful, but that's why you need to be able to communicate well with and trust the people working on it. It's not just a big financial investment, but an emotional rollercoaster as this is your home and the Arena team definitely understand this.
