I purchased a Honda lawnmower less than a year ago, trusting in the brand’s reputation for durability and quality. Unfortunately, after just 11 months of regular use and meticulous care—including cleaning after every cut—the paint on the mower deck began to fail, leading to visible rust.

I raised a warranty claim through the dealer, only to be told by Honda that the issue was due to “impact from debris,” and therefore not covered. This explanation is not only unconvincing, it feels dismissive. The mower has never encountered anything beyond normal grass cutting—no stones, no rough terrain, nothing beyond standard use.

I expected much better from a premium product and an established brand. It’s incredibly disappointing to invest in a high-end machine only to find it doesn’t live up to basic expectations—and to have the manufacturer reject responsibility.

I’ll be considering other brands in the future, and I hope my experience helps others make a more informed decision.

Crawford sorted me out with an Ego strimmer. Superb machine. My hands and knees struggle with arthritis and it's very lightweight and easy to use. Made the strimming enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for someone who maybe would struggle with a heavier strimmer. Fully charged within an hour and done the job perfectly. Also loosen one bolt and it folds to half the size. Perfect!!!

I put my Qualcast in for a general service and on its return I thought they had made a mistake and given me someone else newer model. It was only the fact I knew I had bent one of the cooling fins that it had to be mine. So the cosmetic was great, this was backed up by the cutting precision, just perfect. Highly recommended.
