***Wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy. (spent £30k, should have spent £10k)

After meeting with Craig, I confidently chose his company for my first renovation project as a young single woman. Craig assured me that his company could meet my needs.

After agreeing to work 'room by room,' I returned from dog-sitting to find my belongings barricaded, forcing me out within the first week. I had to repurchase essentials, including dog food, medication, formal attire, and critical items like glasses, laptop, and medication.

As a young woman, I feel taken advantage of, with missing belongings and damaged furniture, including a cherished family heirloom. Despite requesting compensation for rent elsewhere, the company deemed it irrelevant. The project exceeded the contracted time, leaving me to cover insurance, bills, builder's fees, and additional rent.

Negligence during renovations led to the destruction of my previously renovated bathroom floor and bathtub. The company poorly replaced the floor, disregarded my carpeting request for over two months, and executed a subpar cleanup, necessitating personal efforts for the entire flat.

Communication challenges worsened mental health, leading to a resumption of anti-anxiety medication. The job was left half-complete, evident in uneven ceiling plastering and a broken, poorly repaired sink.

Efforts to seek updates were met with discourtesy from the company, intensifying frustrations. Significant issues persist, including destroyed floorboards, missing light fittings, unfinished electrical work, and unaddressed damages.

Despite multiple complaints, Craig's responses were sporadic, prompting my decision to cease further communication. A thank you to Tam, who addressed some issues towards the project's end, handling my frustration with grace.

I am astounded by the unresolved issues, including a missing electric radiator, unfinished work, and unfulfilled commitments, leading to considerable dissatisfaction with the entire renovation experience.

To conclude; I am furious, aggravated and infuriated that I ever put my trust in this company. I genuinely feel that I was, for lack of a better word, taken the piss out of.

*destroyed my floors, broke my sink, the floor is squint, the ceiling isn't even, the floor was fitted poorly with gaps, my bathtub was destroyed, the lights weren't fitted, they're holding custody of my heated towel rail, my toilet was ruined, the list goes on!!! I hate this company so much and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

I hope that this can warn other young women to be EXTRA CAREFUL.

I used Craig Gordon a couple of months ago to remove an old fireplace and boiler and redesign the area. I was really impressed with the thoughtfulness of the workers, particularly the plasterer, who made every effort to make the area look really good. I'll definitely keep Craig Gordon in mind for any future work and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

These folks apparently think it's ok to drive at 50mph with their noses buried in their phones. I'm sure Craig will come on here (again) and argue that driving standards have nothing to do with their business, but he is wrong. Happy to provide full video to him if he would like.

The worst company I've ever had the misfortune of hiring. Left us without a working kitchen for over two months and half the work they did do has now had to be redone, leaving us more than £2000 out of pocket to rectify their mistakes. This would have been bad enough at the best of time, but I was also 4 months pregnant when they started, having to cook meals on a single hob in an upstairs bedroom.

They damaged parts, which we then had to pay to replace, with no offer of reimbursing us from them. Among other things, the joinery is so shoddy that half the cabinets aren't in line, cover panels are badly measured and cut, most of the tiling needs to be taken off and redone and, worst of all, the plumber attached the waste pipes for the sink, washing machine and dishwasher to a small ventilation pipe that flowed right out into our garden. They left some of the cabinets spattered with coffee and BLOOD and, apart from the painter and decorator, no-one made any effort to clean up after themselves at any point.

After a certain point we received little-to-no communication from Craig, despite our best efforts to maintain a decent working relationship. He couldn't even be bothered to email an apology when we eventually sacked him. Please take my advice and don't waste your time, money or sanity with this awful company.

Craig's team constructed decking for our back garden. Asked for a quote after seeing the great work they did at my neighbour's property. All the guys were very helpful and kept us in the loop. Work was done to a very high standard (especially Gary) and care was taken each night to sweep up etc. Will be getting them back in 2024 to renew my kitchen.

I was between tenants at my rental property and needed it given a thorough refresh. Having panicked about what was needed and how I'd manage everything and worried about what should be done first, a quick chat with Craig and it was all sorted out. A one stop shop. The quality of the work has been fantastic which makes such a difference, the decorators were so thoughtful with what they were doing, and Craig had some practical solutions to problems which were good value but still look great. Delighted to work with Craig and his team and will do so again.

People of Edinburgh avoid this footballer/part time tradesman at all costs. He’s now reached a whole new low, instead of his vehicles being parked at balgreen Road all day every day, hes now abandoning his signed vehicles anywhere he wants, in front of folks houses when their is no work going on at all. For hours sometimes days on end. Why can’t you be like any other reputable tradesmen and get yourself a yard, I’ll be contacting my local mp about Craig and his army of vehicles.

We converted an attic into 2 bedrooms, a shower room and loo. This took a lot of work and Craig and the builders kept things in order e.g. noted when the surveyor's drawings were not fit for purpose.
I am most impressed with the follow up - any problems (very few) have been dealt with adequately and promptly.
I had never done anything like this before so really appreciated the support from Craig, the office staff and the workers.
Our extension looks really fab and has been admired by many!
