I visited the location in Pitlochry this past week to purchase a new kilt for an upcoming wedding celebration. The location and team were extremely helpful with every part of the process. The team had me sorted away in what seemed like no time at all. Very helpful and professional throughout the process. Would recommend this shop to anyone in the area looking for a new kilt or other Scottish attire.

Great experience getting my first ever kilt made. Amazing service from staff helping and keeping me right with colour choices of jackets, socks etc. Kilt fits perfect and was ready sooner than expected.

On the morning of the 3rd of February…. I was browsing the shop, having selected 3 children’s books, and I was making my way to the other part of the shop, hoping to buy a tweed cape and/or a tweed jacket. As soon as I reached the clothing section, a saleswoman almost ran at me, no hello no sorry no words exchanged, grabbed the small cup of coffee that I was holding (with a secure lid) and took it to the till. I was made to feel like a naughty child.

I saw later that there was a sign outside with “no food in the shop”, but someone was holding the door when we got in. Neither of us had seen the sign.

I understand the idea of not having food or beverage in the shop in case of spillage, but there is a way of reminding someone of the rule in a nice way. This saleswoman was rude.

Another person in the shop who saw it happening could not believe it.

I bought the books and the Harris tweed jacket somewhere else.

Always drop in to this shop when I visit Pitlochry. Great range of clothing brands. Lovely shop, parts of which are more traditional, harking back to Victorian design. Well worth a visit.
