From an outset, Vanderbilt look like they build lovely homes when you walk in to one of their properties it definitely has the wow factor. I purchased my home from Vanderbilt with these expectations of high end luxury that would also reflect on their service. Since moving in we have had constant issues with poor paintwork, leaks, compliance's breaking, severe cracks, general things that have been poorly built.

Their customer services is possibly one of the worse I have ever encountered, not only can they be rude and passive aggressive but they take sometimes weeks and months to respond. Constantly they forget what they have discussed, countless broken promises, organizing visits without consent, for nearly a year we were without one of our main bathrooms due to a leak and how long they took to sort it. Still now 18 months later we have over 20 snagging issues some worse than others and they have not bothered to come and fix.

The best for last, we have been without a heating system for nearly a year as it is unbearable to turn on. It wakes us up throughout the night and early hours of the morning. My partner and I spent most of last winter freezing in our house due to this, they still have not fixed the issue even though it has nearly been 12 months of chasing and it is not seen as a priority.

After encountering so many issues with the house and the customer service I even wrote to the senior management, even they could not take the time to respond although I know they received my email. They felt they were too important and passed it to one of their peers who had been with the company a couple of weeks to sort, they reached out but what they said they would do and what they actually did were two different things.

I stretched myself to buy this property with the thought I would never be encountering these issues, I can honestly say that I regret it and I would think twice about purchasing a property from Vanderbilt which such a large outlay.

I have recently purchased a new build, and have already started to experience the lack of customer care. I call only to be met by an automated message, and I send an email with no response for about 6-7 days. I already feel let down after 3 months of moving into my new home. I would definitely question the customer care side before making a flat or house purchase with this company.

If possible please avoid them. They are not answering to your emails and when you are trying to fix the issues they let you until the 2 years pass.Is a joke.
They have an agreement with hazelvine property management, a scam company who is charging us £1850 per year. They taking the money from us without providing any services. I think they split the money between them because we had no option who to choose, Vanderbilt sign the contract with them.
Please avoid them if you don't want to be in our situation

This developer is a liar because their brochure, their website and Rightmove's all show that my property with two parking spaces. And their salesperson and Roman agent assured me that I have two parking spaces on the property. But when I bought this property under misguided circumstances only to find out that I only had one parking space, this matter has been pursued for a year and still not fully resolved, I was disappointed by their rude demeanourand behavior and conduct. I cannot imagine that such a large company would use fraudulent means to obtain the buyer's property.

Worst customer service in the world. Had low water pressure for a year and a half and their entire business does nothing. No reply to emails, no follow up on anything they say they'll do, no complaints procedure, no response to anything from anyone.

Total useless crooks.
