My cousin bought a property there a few months ago and is very happy . Went to see her last weekend and was super impressed by this new location near Reading , it's absolutely gorgeous and so convenient for Reading and the M4.

This is a truly lovely development around the lake at the back of Green Park near the train station. There is a lake that the developments overlook. It’s expensive and exclusive from what I can tell. It’s also a little Stepford Wives environment. This is an oasis in the maelstrom that is Reading. I would live here if I could: it’s in a bubble. The service charges and ground rent though … rather be a freeholder than a leaseholder. Nice though.

Moved in approx 2 years ago and was sold the house on the promise of a children's playground, Community Hall and a shop/ coffee shop. Still waiting on all, except for what is classed as a kids playground. Even though the child unfriendly place doesn't really attract many children for obvious reasons. Bleak atmosphere with no sun shade in the summer. Over heated flooring that kids shoes get stuck to and a pretty confused area for mixed age ranges. Not recommended And where are the colours that kids enjoy and want to play on? Black is not that...

Not what I expected albeit Covid didn't help things move along. They are still building lots of property and we are still waiting on the Green Park Station too...
Otherwise it would have been a good place to stay. Still disappointed and we are finding out new things as time progresses.

Fingers crossed it all comes together soon because it would be a dream to live in if it did

Seems like a nice place for
A young family. However mature trees are missing to provide shade and prevent flooding in wet
Months and prevent droughts in the summer. Also the playground is an absolute joke. Is probably one of the worst I have seen in the whole world. Come on Barkley I am sure you have the brain power, resources and possibility to do better. Please, please make a bigger effort as you are selling family
Home bit with no family infrastructure. Also the community hall is not a community hall at all 🙃. Bigger effort on the community places needed as other places. Take a leaf out of the Riverscape/ Royal Wharf development but that is not Berkeley built but built by Ballimore. Please get inspired by them 🙏

Great development which is close to local amenities but with lots of beautiful green spaces, a lake, parks, new school and Green park station!

Came in to ask for assistance not related to their pretentious apartments or at least be pointed in the right direction and the lady spoke to us like we were scum and we personally know the reason why. Understandable we didn’t have an appointment but that’s not what we were there for. Some people need to get over themselves. Rude

My first impression of this place was that I would not like to live here. The first resident I interacted with was a crazed old lady. The buildings themselves are covered in some kind of plastic & look the same. There is no character to the area. I'll take a tent in the field thank you.

Just moved in, fined £100 for parking outside my home in a designated space. Anything to make more money it seems. Again another fine for parking in my space outside my home. Berkeley Homes are just in it for the money. What builder fines residents for parking outside their own house?
