I highly recommend Josh and the team! Josh was quick to provide a quote and explained exactly what was needed to upgrade our single concrete driveway to a double tar and chip one. He was also able to fit our project in when it suited us.
Josh and Dom were both polite, personable and professional. They were very thorough at every stage with a keen eye for detail and worked hard for long days with extremely high standards. The site was left clean and tidy at the end of every day and nothing was too much trouble - Josh even insisted that my neighbours were happy with work that we had asked to be done to a shared part of a driveway.
I would absolutely recommend Josh and his team without hesitation.

Tarmac driveway and adjacent landscaping
We were impressed from the outset by Joshua’s willingness to offer constructive advice without obligation. His quote was well specified and robust at a price that gave excellent value for money. There was effective communication at all times with Joshua showing considerable patience liaising with other onsite contractors. Joshua was ably assisted by Dom. On a hot tarmac laying day, we had a full team of five working like a well oiled machine. Each knowing their role and the position they played to give a smooth, precise finish. Joshua does pay attention to detail taking an aesthetic pride in his work.
We are highly satisfied with the services of Smartchoice Driveways Ltd and have already discussed future work with Joshua. Recommended without reservation.

We chose Smartchoice Driveways for our drive, having seen the excellent work they did for a neighbour. We definitely made the right decision. From the initial discussions about options and costings, then from the start of work to completion a week later, Josh and his team worked tirelessly, keeping us informed at all stages. Josh and his team laid a Chip and Tar path at the side of my house in an area I had excavated and prepared. When I first approached Josh about the job he was happy to give me details of what was involved and after providing a competitive and detailed quote stayed in touch by text as we neared our provisional start date. The guys turned up on time and worked thoroughly and quickly, always keeping me informed about what they were doing and what would happen next, which I appreciated. I was especially concerned about ensuring that they laid the surface seamlessly with two channel drains I had installed and they did a terrific job. Overall they were very neat and tidy and despite working fast, clearly took a lot of trouble to make sure the job was done to the highest standard. I would happily recommend Smartchoice Driveways and would use them again.

We would highly recommend Smartchoice Driveways, very competitive price, great design ideas, polite, friendly and very conscientious. always cheerful despite the awful weather we were having! Turned up every morning by 7.30am and worked long days to complete the job.

I definitely made a smart choice hiring these guys. As well being approachable, polite and professional at all times, they were extremely hard working, thorough and had great attention to detail. The driveway was finished to such a high standard, we have asked them to return, to complete our front paths. Throughout the construction of our drive, they advised us of their progress and their plans in the coming days, and were happy to answer any questions we might have had. They were always tidy, there was never any bad language, nor were they constantly on their phones. They may have been young, but they had a wealth of knowledge and experience.
