I am writing this review after completing a huge extension on my property which began before lockdown and has seen well over 150 tradesmen here working on various aspects of the build.
I can honestly say that Ed at Carson Joinery has easily claimed the top spot of all the skilled guys who have worked on this build after we commissioned him to design and build an oak bannister for us. After email correspondence where I explained what I was looking for along with a selection of photos that I had found for reference, Ed arrived with detailed ideas and sketches of his interpretation. This blew me away as nobody had ever put in so much preparation beforehand. He went on to later produce a 3D rendered image of what the bannister would look like which helped us totally visualise the end result.

Ed had great communication and kept us informed on all aspects. Both he and his colleague Brandon were courteous, polite, tidying up at the end of each visit and first class joiners. The end result is a truly beautiful piece of woodwork / craftsmanship and we couldn't be happier with the end result. I would have no hesitation in recommending Carson Joinery, the whole process was a pleasure.  Thank you.

Ed supplied and fitted sash windows and patio doors to my house in the summer of 2021 at a cost of £22,000. Since then I have been trying to get him to fix the defects but he is ignoring all communications from me. Thick glue is visible along the glass. Water is seeping in along the cross bars of the doors which is going mouldy. The paintwork is very poor and in some areas has been missed completely. There are chips in the woodwork. There is no warranty, so once they're fitted you have no recourse. He also sells his products to builders so you end up with a mixture of different peoples work and both of them blaming each other for the problems. I would not recommend him to anyone.

A quality company with attention to detail.
When Ed and his team came to fit the joinery, they always take great care, laying down dust sheets and treat our property with respect.
We have used Carson Joinery for many years on multiple projects.
We have always found them to be very honest and upfront.
The quality of their joinery is fantastic.

Ed has just made a set of beautiful Oak doors, he stuck to the deadlines and kept us updated along the way.

I recently fitted three bespoke high quality Walnut units for a customer which Ed and his team made. All were of an extremely high standard and fitted beautifully in the spaces they were designed for.
Ed offered great advise as to how they should be fitted and not only helped me load the units and fully protect them into my van he even lent me his apprentice to ensure I could get them to the clients house and up the stairs safely for no charge.
I would fully recommend Carson joinery and look forward to working with Ed and the team again.

Ed has made two staircases for me now, both were made to fit into difficult spaces with walls that were not straight and he made an excellent job of designing, making and installing these. He has also made two bespoke front and rear doors to match my Victorian property and fitted them perfectly into the existing frames, A true master craftsman!

Spoke to the main man on the 13th June to arrange a site visit whick took place on the 20th June for some fitted units i required building.

He said he would knock up the drawings and send them through for me to look at but absolutely nothing. I had called since and left message and text but not even out of courtesy a reply.

The laughable thing was he told me he kept getting let down by plumbers as he wanted work doing so i went out of my way to give him a number and you done just that to me - nice one mate.
