We instructed David to obtain planning permission for a two story extension we needed due to our kids getting older and needing their own space. David came back to us with drawings quickly which we approved and were submitted to the council. They initially came back with objections which we weren't happy with and David built a case to object to them. They quickly came back with an approval, how we wanted the build after David presented evidence as why they couldn't impose the conditions. We are very happy with What David has done for us and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, prompt and thorough architect. Thanks David.

My husband and I recently moved into a cottage with a very peculiar layout and in an unloved and frankly shabby state. We bought it more for the location, being in open countryside with a large back garden, but found ourselves going round and round in circles trying to figure out how we could design the interior. We had lots of ideas, but with a limited budget, everything seemed out of our reach. It was suggested to us that we give David a call. We were a bit worried about doing this as we had heard that the services of an architect can be expensive, but decided an enquiry wouldn’t hurt. We went ahead and were amazed at actually how much money it has saved us. David seemed to be able to cut through all our confusion without any effort and come up with suggestions that saved money, yet improved the design and was also able to offer guidance on sources of funding that we we didn’t know existed, which enabled us to make the most of our budget. If we hadn’t contacted David, I have no doubt we would have been struggling to meet our costs. I would highly recommend David. He seems to have an exceptional ability to take in the needs (and wants) of his client and turn them into something beautiful, practical and within budget. He is very on the ball when it comes to things like Government grants and eco-friendly ways of working. He has saved us so much stress. We can’t thank him enough.

We wanted to modernise the rear of our house and to get more light in. David produced sketches which we were instantly attracted to. Once we had decided to take it to the next stage he introduced us to a builder and the whole process went smoothly and without issue. David is very professional and we would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I found David on Houzz, usually I'd prefer to go with someone that's been directly recommended to me but after our inital searches I struck up a dialogue with David. He understood very quickly what we were trying to achieve and I can honestly say he exceeded all of my expectations, even now the design phase has passed and we've broken ground I still have regular conversations with him to check in with progress and any small questions I have which are always met with serious consideration. What I like the most is that David truly cares about the project and you get the feeling he is designing it to only a specification that he would be truly satisfied with. We've not finished the project yet but the visualtion gives you an idea of what he is capable of. We also got a 3D sketchup tour of the extension as we didn't want to leave anything to chance.

David's service is not cheap but it's definitely excellent value and one that I can't recommend highly enough.
