We have recently used Hargrave Construction and Renovation to undertake some building work for a house project and we are very happy with their level of service and the completed work. Everything was professionally done with excellent communication throughout, Safety and building regulations were strictly adhered to which gives peace of mind knowing you are in good hands. They were extremely hard working, polite, arrived when they said they would and cleared up after themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are looking for a reliable company, we will be using them again for future projects on our house and garden.

What can I say about Hargrave Construction & Renovation other than they have been excellent from start to finish. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Dean and his team. From the initial detailed quote supplied by Dean for the job to perfect project management with regular communication and problem solving where necessary - our build experience has been seamless all the way through the process and right up until the end of our new extension and renovation.

The site was always left tidy and immaculate. Safety and building to regulations was a priority. Exemplary work by a great team of builders and skilful craftsmen. We are already missing them!

We pretty much came in on budget aside from a couple of material upgrades and additional jobs we requested. We have just asked Dean to quote on some further work to be carried out and will be hiring him and his team again without hesitation.

If I could give them 10 stars out of 10 - it would be 11! Highly recommend this company and we would be very happy to discuss our experience with potential clients thinking about hiring Hargrave Construction and Renovation.

From start to finish, the team at Hargrave Construction did a fantastic job. They arrived on time every day, were friendly, tidy, and worked efficiently throughout the project. Dean was present and approachable from the beginning, always available to handle any questions or concerns. Communication was excellent—clear, helpful, and really put our minds at ease. A minor issue with building control came up, but it was resolved quickly and without any stress. We highly recommend this company and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Hargrave have recently completed a total renovation of one half of the ground floor of our detached house to provide a new large kitchen, through area, dining room and cloakroom/utility area. This has included gutting the area, removing part of a wall between two rooms, moving a doorway and creating a new one and reconfiguring understairs storage. The area has been almost entirely replastered, including new ceilings with new flooring and skirtings installed and new doors installed. Electrics and plumbing have been replaced. A new fitted kitchen with new appliances has been fitted and the entire area decorated.

We are so impressed with the efficiently with which the project was completed and the quality of the completed work at a fair price. The project was superbly managed through with quality, hardworking tradesmen on site at the right times and no delays or interruptions, ably supervised by Nathan. Nathan and Dean were available to us for consultation, advice and queries at all times, personally or via our WhatsApp group. They communicated well and were always responsive to our wishes.

The entire process was completed within a month to our complete satisfaction and there have been no snags whatever to report and remedy. We would unreservedly recommend Hargrave C&R to others. They will certainly be our automatic, go-to contractors for future projects.

Dean and all of his workforce could not have been quicker, more professional and altogether an excellent company to work with. Our issue was a collapsed ceiling and wrecked bathroom which occurred in the last week of November and, having quoted for the work very quickly, Dean’s company managed to complete the work in less than 3 weeks so that all was ready for Christmas. This included working on Saturdays in order to complete the job on time. A thoroughly professional and trustworthy company who we would recommend wholeheartedly and would not hesitate in considering for any further work which we may need doing. Highly competent and very professional construction company. We used Hargrave for a complete refurbishment of our house and a large extension and we are very happy with the result. All the team are very diligent and detail orientated and bring in their own ideas and suggestions which makes for a better end product. They care and think about the work they do to deliver the best possible result to the client.
In addition, all the team are very friendly and easy to get on with.
I can only recommend Hargrave to anyone looking for home improvements and/or construction works. We will certainly be using Hargrave again in the future.

Hargrave Construction recently carried out a job for us with very complicated logistics, including lowering a micro-digger into our garden over a very old and fragile wall. The whole thing was carried out with extreme efficiency and everything happened exactly when and how they said it would, with courtesy and professionalism. Outstanding work!
