I recently used Blackfords on my self build over 18 months in Hastings Old Town. I appointed them in 2 phases - firstly excavation, retaining walls, drainage with attenuation and a reinforced concrete slab on piled foundations. Then recently to return and do all the hard landscape to a very exacting standard. A first rate team who worked in very difficult conditions with a narrow access and steep slope. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your project.
