Steve, Phil and the entire team at Cotswold building & roofing did a fantastic job in building us a new garage. The end result was a beautifully building that looked like it had always been there, and built from local stone and where possible locally sourced materials to be sympathetic with the house and comply with local planning.
They assisted us throughout the stages of its build and didn’t necessitate an independent project manager, they gave plenty of support, recommendation and advice in the early stages and worked well with the architect, structural engineer, building control assessor and then organised all other trades that were required on the build, including the joiners for the 32 ft of bespoke hardwood doors, the concrete floor specialists, after the groundwork’s were complete and 130 tonnes of landfill were removed from site. The steel fabricators for the frame and foundations, the plumber, the electrician, the carpenters and the plasterers.
They involved me in the process and we visited local quarries to chose exactly the right mix of stones and sizes together with the right mortar mix to create exactly the right look, and the same for roof tiles, the windows and all the other materials that would affect the design and cost of the build.
Built to perfection, almost to schedule (although I changed specification and added a mezzanine level with a staircase and bespoke railings and guard rails to be made. It would have been to budget, although I changed the specification on a number of occasions, which they were very accommodating about.
They completed the build to perfection in August, and popped over at xmas with a xmas card and present and to check in and to provide a QR code to leave a review!. So here it is… friendly, reliable, helpful, exceptional level of detail to attention and build quality… they come nightly recommended.

We wanted to add a bit of space to our single garage without encroaching on the garden too much. We got in quotes from three builders, but found Cotswold building and Roofing Ltd to not only respond quickly, they were helpful, attentive, adjusted quotes to suit our requirements and once on site were quick, provided a very professional service and despite the weather they kept the garden and driveway clean and tidy.
