Really impressed with this company, their customer service, the consultant Paul and the 2 engineers who carried out the work. The installation date was booked well in advance and they were on site promptly at 8am. Josh and Leon worked expertly and efficiently to install 11 central heating radiators and were friendly and helpful throughout. They left everything clean and tidy and KD Jones will be my 'go to' heating engineers in future. I have no hesitation in recommending them to all.

Delivering excellent customer service once more.

After being impressed with the way in which K D Jones had installed modern central heating radiators throughout the house, I had no hesitation in using them to carry out remedial work on my gas-fired system. Although the 9 year-old boiler was OK, I’d suspected for some time that the system needed a power flush, so I engaged the services of K D Jones to do the work.

Their engineer, Sean, arrived as planned, set up the equipment and explained what the work entailed. During the process he showed me how black the water was – despite the radiators being new – but also how the strong magnet in the machine was attracting a great deal of iron oxide from the sludge. He kept me fully informed throughout the process, during which he identified a problem in that sections of copper pipe were so blocked with iron oxide that the power flush couldn’t remove. He used a magnet to show how it was strongly attracted to the iron content in the copper pipe, especially at right-angle connections. He explained that the severely affected pipes needed to be replaced and liaised with his Head Office for the necessary work to be carried out as a priority. He also suspected the boiler’s Flow Switch may have been compromised and that it might need replacing.

A few days later 2 engineers, Adrian and James, arrived to replace the affected pipes. They worked efficiently & skilfully and were friendly, pleasant and informative throughout. They also confirmed a Flow Switch had been ordered, but delivery had been delayed. They cleaned up everything perfectly before they left and promised to complete the work as soon as the switch had been delivered. Adrian returned a couple of days later to replace the switch, test everything and confirm the problem was finally resolved.

I’ve posted this detailed review primarily because I’m obviously very pleased with K D Jones, but also to make people aware of what can happen with older central heating systems!

KD Jones have done a fantastic heating renovation. They replaced an old warm air system with a combi boiler and radiators. The service from start to finish was excellent . All the staff were friendly and polite and tidy with their work !!
The aftercare is excellent too, with Melvyn returning to do a small snagging job again extremely efficiently and cheerfully!!

A Lifesaver in My Hour of Need Thank You Melvin!

At 85 years old, waking up to no heating or hot water was more than just an inconvenience it was genuinely worrying. A dear friend recommended KD Jones, and I can’t thank kD Jones enough for sending Melvin to my rescue the very same day!

By half past noon, Melvin was at my door, and within an hour, he had my boiler working again! He discovered the igniter needed cleaning, carefully took everything apart, and fixed the issue with such skill. What impressed me most was how he explained every step in a way I could understand never rushing me, always patient.

At my age, you appreciate kindness as much as competence, and Melvin showed both. He’s a true credit to KD Jones, and I’m deeply grateful for his help. If you need an engineer who treats your home like his own, call them and ask for Melvin!
