We have used A Thompson builders three times for a series of conversion and improvement works on our old cottage: a garage conversion, two large ceiling replacements, including roof joists and dealing with pre-existing damp problems, and a new downstairs toilet and shower room.
All quotations and time schedules have been met.
Tony and his team have paid a great deal of attention to preserving and enhancing the heritage of the building.
We have been able to occupy other parts of the house and have been pleased by how effective the dust screen and seals have been.
All the various tradesmen who have worked on site have been not only skilled craftsmen, but also very pleasant and friendly to deal with. Our neighbours have also commented about their considerate nature: no loud music or coarse behaviour. Indeed, one of them, who is an architect, employed them to undertake a large conversion of their rather dated bungalow into an impressive modern-style house.
