I engaged the services of A to B Design to design a small extension to replace an existing conservatory
One of our concerns was how to prevent the room where the extension was coming off, from been too dark with having a tiled roof.
Steve came round and discussed in great depth what could be done, this elevated our concerns He measured up and completed a very detailed set of drawings which where then used to see if we required planning permission.

When we started the build, Steve was always available for advice and to answer any questions we had or to over come problems that we encountered.
At one stage, due to cost more than the initial design, we decided to make a small change to the design and Steve was more than happy to offer advise and give technical advice.

The build is now complete and has fulfilled our needs . The design has given us the natural light into the main room as we hiked it woud and is perfect.

I would highly recommend A to B Design , a professional and friendly service.

It's difficult to overstate how positive and helpful Steve and Rebecca from A to B Design have been through a long and difficult planning application - none of it their fault. They have stayed in touch and gently chivvied us when we needed to not-to-gently chivvy other parties who were holding up the process.

They were also good for morale! They understood all aspects of our application, even when it got complicated and new, unexpected elements arose.

Personal hands on approach from the initial design of the build, issued by us in a pretty brief format I must say. Easier to say than to plot it. However, I must point out how impressed we were how they took this on board and started the design process straight away. They came up with a very decent set of plans better than we envisioned, with the added benefit of submitting them all to the correct places, and our extension being approved smoothly and quickly. Very competitive rates with no hidden little "extras" either!
Not dealt with many designers or structural calculations companies before, but we were put at ease from the very get go.
Would highly recommend to anyone needing help with design and planning of all aspects of a build.
