Professional and prompt service.

I was stuck with a front door that wouldn't lock on a Sunday evening - had someone out within 2 hours to fix.

Had it been during the week and less urgent, I may have found a smaller company or individual contractor to do the work, as it was rather expensive in my opinion. Have dropped a mark for that.

Very responsive on the phone and easy to get hold of. The job was booked in quickly. There is no call out fee which is good if you don’t know what the problem is and someone has to come back again at a later date. The job itself wasn’t that cheap which is why I have given 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall I would still recommend them though!

Locking up for the night , back door handle broke off . Next morning I purchased new handles and fitted them myself. The following day as went out , new door handle failed . Locked out with no means of re-entry I called Able Group. No problem , Ian arrived just over an hour later . In the meantime I'd figured that when I replace the handles I'd replaced the wrong length bar and although it worked for a day , it was too short and came adrift from the handles . Ian drilled out the front door lock so that we could gain entry to remove said new handles and fit the correct bar . He then fitted a new lock on front door , job completed in less than an hour . Folks don't d.i.y. if you don't know what you're doing , call Able , they really are first class .

We were very happy with the service. The man that came out to us was very pleasant, & put us at ease. My poor daughter was locked in the bathroom & so was very upset, & the lovely man quickly got her out, such a relief. He also came to the house in good time.
