I can't recommend Abstract Plans enough. They are very competitively priced and James made the whole process run like clockwork.
After a visit by James, we had the plans for our single storey extension emailed to us within a couple of days.
There were a couple of minor changes to window dimensions that we needed to make (our fault) which James just took as an instruction over the phone. The very next day Abstract Plans had submitted our plans to our local council planning department.

I'd urge anybody that requires architectural plans to be drawn up to contact Abstract Plans.

I contacted Abstract Plans to submit a planning application for the replacement of a roof on my grade 2 listed cottage. Abstract Plans undertook the survey, submitted the plans and notified me when the planning permission was received. Really straight forward process, prompt response to all enquiries and knowledgeable about the planning process.

We have had an excellent experience with Abstract Plans so far. Planning application for an extension prepared and looked after by them went smoothly and was approved by the Council. Building regulation package, with materials specification and structural calculations, was also prepared quickly and professionally. Actual building work is yet to be started. But for now, thank you Abstract Plans!

Abstract Plans was hired by my neighbour as our party wall company for an extension project, which was an abuse of my good will by leaving the option to my neighbour. I found out that this was the same company which prepared the extension plans. As you would imagine, they did not treat us fairly. The project caused damages to my property and I called them. They only protected my neighbour's interest but not mine. They are quite dodgy and not professional. They thought I would just saddle with the damage but no, I will be chasing the case until my damages are compensated. So keep away from this dishonest company!

I would highly recommend Abstract Plans. Ray fully supported us with our last extension and renovation which included full plans and party wall agreements with the neighbour. Mark ensured communication throughout. I found them to be extremely professional.

I would not recommend Abstract Plans. They have cost us time and money for what should have been a relatively simple job. We hired Abstract Plans to help us decide whether an internal wall was load bearing. They informed us it was and provided us with an RSJ calculation. Upon removal of the wall it was not load bearing and therefore the RSJ was not fit for purpose. This was confirmed by not one but two other structural engineers. I do not normally leave reviews but only doing so because I do not wish for others to experience the poor service we have.

Could not recommend Ray more highly. Completed our structural calculations quickly and efficiently and looked for the best possible solution for a difficult roof design. Very well priced and fantastic service!
