Andrew has been excellent, his customer service stood out from our first meeting. Andrew listened to everything we wanted and came with excellent knowledge and advise. The drawings themselves are very good and our tradesmen have all commented on the professionalism of them.
After a couple of set backs from the planning department Andrew was extremely helpful acting as our middle man, a few amendments to our original design and we were off again.
Andrew honestly has been a great help and supportive through the planning stages, he’s been at hand and always answered any questions or concerns we had. Building work should hopefully start in the next few weeks and we are very much looking forward to seeing the drawn designs turn into our home.

Andrew was recommended to us by a friend, and I am so glad he did. We had met a couple of architects prior to starting our home renovation project, who were pretty unreliable, and nothing ever materialised.

We went to Andrew with a clear idea of what we wanted, which was a good place to start, however Andrew really helped us develop and hone our ideas, into our final product.

Andrews experience and competency put us completely at ease, as we took the first steps on a large and daunting project. We felt comfortable leaving everything in Andrews capable hands, and he had our plans over to us promptly. He took control of everything from draft drawings through to planning permission submission, and completed paperwork and forms to ensure that we didn’t get any nasty surprises (legal jargon and requirements can do that if you’re not careful!), and as such, ensured we were not liable to any hefty payments (£12k CIL if I remember correctly!)

Once our plans were submitted and planning permission accepted, we began the building project promptly. Along the way we were met with a few difficulties, as is to be anticipated when undergoing a large project. 6 months into the works, I called on Andrew to help iron these issues out, that were hanging over my head and causing a lot of stress. He was around the house within a few days, developed our new drawings, and liaised with our local council and within a couple of weeks, everything was sorted. No interruptions and a whole lot of stress relieved.

Since, the renovation has now been completed, and I cannot thank Andrew enough for being of very first appointment on our renovation journey. Without Andrew, we wouldn’t have hour dream house!

I cannot recommend Andrew enough. He has been such a pleasure to deal with, supportive along the way, and finding someone to guide you thorough such a daunting project is absolutely paramount. Andrew is worth his weight in gold and I cannot recommend him enough.

Andy completed our plans for a 2 story side and rear extension to our 2 bed semi detached property, our original request was to just achieve open plan living on the ground floor with a downstairs toilet and add a 3rd bedroom upstairs with a larger bathroom. The end result of the plans exceeded our expectations as we hadn't realised the potential for the space and it meant we could have a new master bedroom with a dressing area and en-suite! Every inch of space was utilised in one clever way or another.

Andy's ongoing help and support throughout the whole process has been fantastic, from the initial site survey, drawing up of the plans, producing our building regs drawings and processing our planning applications. Taking on a large project with no previous experience can be quite daunting but nothing was too much trouble for Andy despite my many many calls to ask "Just a quick question" which often resulted in half an hour chats!

In short if you want someone who will listen to what you want in order to produce the plans you need as well as providing an excellent level of customer service then don't hesitate to pick AD Design.

Andy not only designed something which totally opened my eyes, but his knowledge on the steps I had to take before even putting a spade in the ground was priceless.
