Adam has contacted us saying he was unable to do the planned work due to a car accident, this being true means he was unable to contact us to say the work could not proceed as planned. We found Adam to be very polite and apologetic when he contacted us 4 days later.

AJ1 Builders have built a very attractive front porch and lean to at the side of my house. They have been highly efficient, professional and courteous, at all times. All work has been completed to a very high standard and they have been very good at cleaning and clearing up at the end of each day which is a big plus. They seem to have the right expert on hand for every job to complete the different tasks to a very high standard. I couldn't be happier and will definitely use them again.

Adam has completely transformed my very small downstairs cloakroom. The old pipework is gone and the walls have been tiled beautifully. With a new toilet and vanity unit the room looks so much bigger. A job well done.

Great work redoing my patio, my garden has no rear access but the team were very respectful of that and tidied up every night. The works were completed at a good pace. All questions I had were answered quickly. Would hire again for any future building or garden projects.

Adam and his team have completed the ground works including laying waste and water pipes for a summer room in our garden. They completed all works quickly and were very hard working. The team that worked on site were very polite and friendly too. Very happy with the service and we are going to use them again for more of the construction.

Adam and his team were absolutely brilliant to begin with. You cannot fault his staff at all. Where we did see a few issues was there was sometimes the lack of communication of when his team would come around. For example 7am requests during school holidays or coming around when we were not home. The other thing was when the major works were done. It took a few months to rectify defects..overall heis team are really lovely. Top notch.

Phase 1 of kitchen/dining installation : wall removal, RSJ installation, windows removed/refitted, bricklaying, electrics, plumbing & plastering.

Adam is good at explaining what work will be done & has been very responsive to questions both during contract discussion & during the building work. He has project managed this phase very well, ensuring that his team are available at the right time & have the supplies they need to complete the work. Adam & his team have been very polite, professional and approachable & have provided me with regular updates as the building work has progressed. I’m very happy with the work & look forward to the next phase when the kitchen will be installed.
