We used Aldrock Surveyors over a problem we had with United Utilities who wanted £1,700 Surface Water Drainage charges per annum for a small yard in Lytham. In order to challenge United Utilities you have to appoint a surveyor and have a full site survey professionally drawn up. Aldrock were great. They conducted the survey and helped with the negotiations and our annual fee surface water drainage is now nil - that's right - nothing! still can't believe it.

Late and poor quality reports by a "surveyor" who isn't even chartered. Turns out they use the name of somebody else to convince you they are RICS. They don't even have a qualified architect either, so I'm frustrated about the planning application which was inevitably refused, probably due to lack of knowledge. I wont be using this firm again.
