Amaxs have completed a couple of large and complex projects for us that required their full range of skills and also relied on their ability to work well with our architect and any other contractors required for specialist work. We bought an older property in need of total renovation. We also decided to re-model and extend at the same time so AMAXS virtually rebuilt the entire house.

There was only some half-working old warm-air heating so, as well as the more traditional building work, we also needed a complete re-plumb and installation of new boiler, rads, and underfloor heating downstairs. Plus a complete re-wire. And all of these skills are covered by the team - another great reason to use AMAXS as they can do EVERYTHING without needing to sub-contract out.

Monika, Steve, and ALL the guys were really friendly and helpful, providing excellent advice and guidance throughout the project.

And they were really tidy too - amazingly, despite the scale of the works, we managed to live on-site with electricity and HOT water for all except one night in the entire seven months when the downstairs floor was relaid and the concrete was drying !

If you would like one company from the start to the end of your project I will highly recommend Amaxs. We bought an older property needed a total renovation. With a very short notice Amaxs team completed a whole house rewiring, brand new central heating system and remodel our kitchen and dining area. Through out the whole project they where very professional and tidy. Great communication with Monika and Steve from the quote to the finish job. All the work was completed to the high standards and kept within budget. I’m already planning to use Amaxs again.

They have managed to work on our house through the pandemic and did a really good job. They were there to advice us on different aspects of our built but also they did listen to our comments. However the most importantly even after they have finished and got paid they would still answer my calls. Would definitely use them again.

Slawek and Monika lead this team of skilled hard-working plumbers and craftsmen that, based on our experience, we can recommend highly.

Our two cramped bathrooms were transformed into modern shower rooms at end of 2019 - the new layouts make them feel bigger and uncluttered! At the same time, our boiler was also upgraded and a megaflo installed. Having initially assessed the work Slawek (Steve) and Monika added good practical suggestions to our plans, all of which were reflected in a competitive quote together with clear timelines. Once the work started both Slawek and Monika were readily available throughout checking on progress - this was both reassuring and helpful.

The team covered all the work themselves (plumbing, electrics and tiling). They are a happy, hard working and respectful bunch of craftsmen who started promptly each day and always tidied up before they left. The project was completed on time to a high standard with Monika and Slawek checking in on completion to ensure that all was satisfactory.

For future home improvement projects our starting point will be AMAXS!
