1 is too high a review treated shockingly by this company. myself, my husband and my son were made homeless due to this company pulling out of our purchase the week before we were due to move in. delay after delay on the building, queries about the land few weeks before we were due to move in with regard to who owned what. we were told we could move the fence after the builders left but then told different. we were told we were going to be the first moved in on our street. again a lie. we kept leaving messages for the construction director but just kept getting ignored. I have never been treated so badly. This was after my husband had been going through chemo too. I would definately advise buying these houses.

I am so glad that we finally found our dream home somewhere else. I would definately not recommend this company.

Lovely homes with a fair few snags when you move in. This is only to be expected.
But the time between Amethyst fixing these can be well over a year - heading towards 2!
Also - don’t let sales staff patronise or belittle you - I know a fair few of residents had to endure this when buying and chasing up.
If you complain and complain all they do is not respond. Terrible service.
Also warning to new buyers - DO NOT pay top money for Amethyst to lay your lawn - I was shocked and disgusted at what they lay for me. 2 years later - I had to remove it. Had to take them to small claims court to get an outcome. Which I won!
Secondly - the roads are shocking! 5 years after some homes are occupied, the road is still like a dirt track. Nice house, terrible aftercare. Be wary

Also - if your house has a ‘shared drive’ be aware that this isn’t written in law and anyone can park on it and block the other occupier of the shared drive. This I know from experience!

All I can say is buy a Persimmons home you'll get better value for money and probably do your snagging and bodge jobs quicker and better than Amethyst Homes, customer care is appalling and try getting a response is a joke, Directors well quite happy to penny pinch and hide behind closed doors and not even turn up to see problem's just turn round and say no not doing this or that,.
They've been back to work since June and still waiting on repairs (replacements)for many things.
Turn up today14/10/20 to replace shower cubicle guess what no shower cubicle after weeks of waiting, hopefully contractors that they've used are long gone now and current ones take a bit of pride in what they do.
I do however love my house and location, site Manager at Sleekburn is spot on as is some of the lads on site but unfortunately his hands are tied because of directors tightness

Nice house shame about the aftercare. Trying to get any remedial work carried out is near impossible, and when it is carried out they often leave your new home in a worse state than when the work started. Amethyst Homes then bury their heads in the sand and do not respond to any emails even when those emails are sent to the directors and sales manager. The customer services are condescending and confrontational.
Site manager does all he can to help but has more work than hours in the day.
