We have recently had building work completed by Paul and his team at Appletree Building Contractors and are blown away by the results!

Work we had done:
-Bifolding doors installation and all associated building works
-Juliet balcony and Bifolding window installation and building works
-Garage conversion, full works to a plastered finish and as per building regs certification

Just want to give a special thank you to Paul and his team, their work was outstanding, lads are extremely reliable, hardworking and insanely neat throughout. Brickwork looks like it has been there from day dot!

They really went above and beyond to make sure this full process went perfect, and I would highly recommend them!

Paul, with the help of his team (Michael and Lucas), worked for several months on the brickwork and blockwork construction of our new bungalow home. Their work has been immaculate and carried out with care and humour! In addition they have also undertaken separately a smaller but more difficult project, adjusting an indoor staircase/lintel in our present home. That was difficult and equally well done. Thanks to Paul who comes highly recommended

Initially we invited quotes from several local builders recommended by our architect for costings and a walk through of how it would be built in terms stages of build.
On speaking with Paul we found he was very knowledgable with a friendly persona. This gave us confidence in selecting Appletree Building Consultants as our preferred choice.
Paul gave us a detailed works programme including timescales he also recommended a structural engineer to provide the necessary structural calculations for the build and a company to oversee the building regs throughout the build.
We were regularly kept informed on a daily basis which was a great help.
The build started in Jan 2023 Paul was very organised with deliveries from suppliers and his workforce were very skilled and professional and worked well as a team from the apprentice to skilled bricklayers, and contractors which included: Roofers, Bifold installers, Electricians, Plumber and Joiners.

We had regular “Project Manager“ meetings with Paul when we openly discussed option and choices.
The completed extension has exceeded our expectations and we would like to thank Paul and his team and would have no hesitation in recommending Appletree Building Consultants for your building project.

We had a single storey extension built as well as 2 new bathrooms and a study.

Paul and his team were professional, courteous, polite and efficient. Initially Paul worked hard to produce a comprehensive spreadsheet detailing all the costs of materials and labour as well as a schedule of works. We had several quotes from different builders and Paul's quote was comparatively very reasonable.

We were kept up to date throughout the project and we couldn't be more pleased with the result!

We would highly recommend Paul and his team. We had a single and double storey extension and it was a pleasure to deal with Paul and his team from start to finish. Polite, tidy, and reliable. Easy to discuss issues with, very approachable, never felt anything was too much of a problem. Looking forward to having them back for more work in the future.

Definitely would recommend Paul and the lads at Appletree. About 5 years ago they converted a single storey, flat roof extension at the back of our house into an Orangery. We’re so pleased with it and the way the lads worked. Always upbeat, even though we changed our mind a couple of times mid project and there were a few unexpected challenges along the way.

I contacted this company to have some remedial building works carried out at my property following a bad sting with a rogue builder.
I was promised a call back twice, it never materialised (on the second instance I was told he had "completely forgotten" about it - I guess it was an honest admission). I was also promised a visit for the end of the week, whic also did not materialise.
I am glad he is so busy he can afford to pick and choose which jobs to carry out and which to ignore, however I would have liked to be told up front my job was of no interest for him, rather than having my time wasted.
