Aqua Rod have completed various jobs for me at my farm, including installing a new treatment plant and soak-away, arranging the install of the drainage for a barn conversion and reconnecting a sewage pipe. Having worked with a few different companies in the past, I can say this company is stand-out. Dave and Dean in particular have been incredible. Communication is clear, work is conducted promptly and efficiently and the team are friendly and approachable. Highly recommend.

Aqua Rod have just completed decommissioning and filling in our cesspit that is no longer used. From start to finish everyone was very helpful and professional. Job was completed quickly and efficiently and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Over new year I could smell something rotten in my shower room, I realised it was coming from my septic tank. I phoned Aqua Rod this morning (9/1/25) at 8.30 and by 11.30 the tank had been emptied and flushed out. I am genuinely impressed by such a first class company.

BEWARE

After being given all necessary information for cesspit inspection turns out they didn’t organise themselves well enough to do the job so had to return on a different date (week or so & no fault of ours) They then damaged our property so we called them back to fix it, which they did after not showing up two out of the three times they promised. Then they subsequently charged us for the above disguised within the invoice ‘extra time on site’.

Thank you to Liam from Aquarod for coming out in heavy rain to fix our WTP, explaining what had gone wrong and fixing it.

Aqua Rod South West Ltd was hired to inspect an obvious leak next to our house, and advise on a fix. They eventually produced an inadequate report that offered no solution. When I queried why I'd just given them £360 for nothing, I got a defensive response that lay blame with me.

Aqua Rod South West Ltd elected to carry out a CCTV survey, something that was never asked for by myself, but told me I apparently should have known to have asked for a 'leak detection survey'. They shouldn't have taken on a job they couldn't do, and then charge an extortionate rate to do it.

Aqua Rod South West Ltd are not to be trusted - avoid them at all costs and hire a small local contractor who actually cares about helping their customers.

Terrible communication and argumentative.
Put our septic tank in the wrong place then left an open sewer in our garden.
Left rubbish all around our property.
Terrible to deal with.
Months of back and forth.
No warranty given.
If they where the last company in the world I would'nt use them.

Aqua Rod have fitted the noisiest man hole covers leading into Goonhavern. They haven’t taken responsibility for them yet despite being notified. These manholes are still waking our community up in night and early hours of the morning. They run from Longview Care home all the way into Goonhavern.
SW water adopted one of them closest to Goonhavern and it was repaired by Kiers who told me that it wasn’t bedded onto enough concrete. This manhole is the only silent one on the run.

I would love to be able to edit this review Aqua Rod. Please could you come and rectify your work.
