I had a small job of a sandstone hearth to be fitted; contacted Ian who managed to fit the job in within 2 weeks. Ian and his team did a fantastic job, took great care with the install (bearing in mind it weighed 90kg) great attention to detail, very tidy and a true craftsman. Have absolutely no hesitation in recommended Askins & Little.

Askins & Little is a firm I would employ again, without hesitation. Over several weeks they have undertaken stonework repairs on two very old buildings. The work included replacement of a 6ft+ concrete lintel, significant quantities of lime pointing, some with reinforcing bars, and much stone replacement. Due to the age and condition of one building, a significant amount of potential additional, unplanned work, was revealed. A&L provided guidance and support in determining which items to undertake. I can confirm all work was undertaken and completed to a high standard. If you are considering lime pointing/stonework repairs, be aware that it is a laborious and time consuming process. A&L staff showed commitment and dedication. A&L is an excellent firm, indeed, such excellence is a rare thing today.

Askins & Little were absolutely terrific. Our property is over 150 years old and made from a specific type of limestone. It was badly damaged by fire. Askins & Little were able to rebuild the damaged stone sections, as they would have been when first built. The job they did was truly outstanding. They arrived when they said they would; carried out the job professionally and to the highest standards. We were frankly amazed at the quality of their work. We would have no hesitation in recommending them. Brilliant workmanship.
