I initially contacted 3 architects when planning our alterations to get a feel of how they each worked. Gavin at Awesome Proportions impressed me the most, firstly his energy and enthusiasm, but also his realistic grasp of what we wanted to achieve. He gave opinions and options that added design and functionality, but was also aware of the fact we were working within a budget.
Communication from start to finish was excellent, I'd certainly use Gavin again and recommend him to any of my friends.

I am extremely happy to recommend Awesome Proportions to anyone needing clever, modern and well thought out architectural services . Gavin is very creative and has designed an extension which looks modest from outside but has increased the living, kitchen, utility and dining areas vastly. We were more than happy to have Gavin recommend an absolutely brilliant builder. The build is complete (apart from some electrics and plumbing -( awaiting our kitchen delivery ) and of course decorating, furniture and garden work. Throughout the entire process Gavin has proved to be highly creative, knowledgeable, trustworthy, helpful and explained every step of the way. When high building material costs proved too much he managed to downsize the project and it is still very impressive, he is also a great problem solver and we were truly lucky that he was recommended to us. I have only taken external photos which do not do justice at all.

Gavin designed our kitchen diner extension and has applied for all permits required for us to progress the build. He is very professional and went above and beyond to help out when we encountered some issues with the local water company. He was always available for advice and ideas and recommended some excellent builders who have done an amazing job to bring his drawings to life and we've been enjoying our home ever since. His prices are very reasonable for the service he provides, would highly recommend him.
