We worked together with Barron Surveying Services on a large renovation project, over a period of approximately 2 years, converting a former run-down B&B into a domestic residence. James Barron initially undertook a thorough Building Inspection and supplied a detailed report to support the purchase.

Once acquisition was completed James took over as Project Manager dealing with tenders, surveys, planning permission, building regulations, budgeting, liaising with building firm, basically every aspect of the project. He carried out weekly site visits and regularly supplied thorough progress reports.

James’ work was completed with the utmost professionalism, attention to detail, care and dedication. Inevitably during such a project changes are made, additional works become apparent and obstacles arise: nothing was too much trouble, and James’ composure, calmness and reassurance - even when a pandemic was thrown into the mix - was admirable.

Not living locally it was of vital importance that we had a team we could rely on 100% to manage every detail of the process. James and Sara Barron were our dream-team, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.
