I telephoned this company to ask a general question about the possibility of removing a beam in a barn. I only wanted to know if it was possible in theory! The receptionist refused to put me through, or even put the question to an engineer, unless we owned the property. I would never use this company!

I contacted this company with a view to having a loft conversion assessment supported by structural calculations. They carried out a site visit, took some photographs and suggested how the scheme could be made to work. I then emailed them copies of drawings with additional photos requesting some feedback and a cost estimate of their fees to which there was no reply.
I then telephoned and was advised I'd be called back.....no one called back. I then emailed updated drawings.......no reply.
I would expect to at least be told if they either weren't interested, or the work wasn't within their area of expertise or they were too busy with other work. When I telephoned their offices again I was fobbed off by their telephonist. Wasted 2 weeks of my time before I assumed I wouldn't hear any further from them. Very un-professional way to run a business.
I now feel fortunate not to have engaged them.
