I don’t know what kind of wood Benlowe used when making my French doors, but the frames are completely and catastrophically rotten after less than ten years. I contacted the company under the terms of their ten year guarantee, but they were obdurate in their insistence that it would not apply in my case. All I had asked for was a discount on the cost of replacement doors, but they were adamant I should pay the full retail price. They claimed the small print in the warranty meant a complaint within ten years was not valid because the rot must have been reported as soon as it started. I would have done this but for the fact the damage was not visible on the surface – it came from inside as the soft, spongy wood wicked up moisture internally. My regular painting of the surface, which was virtually intact, only seems to have sealed in the decay. Benlowe make a woefully substandard product, and they seem to despise their customers as fools.

Needed a length of window trim that had failed on one of my customers houses.
It was late in the day and the guys gave me a couple of lengths along with some tape for free.

Great service from Benlowe to replace a blown glazing panel. No quibble and I was kept informed along the way by Nikki. Scott who came to fit the panel was friendly and efficient, leaving the room clean and tidy.

Ordered timber windows and door from Benlowe, and overall very happy. Aside from a few small scuffs in the paintwork, the workmanship is great. We had an issue with the door (down to the house moving a bit), and they were out the same day to adjust it. Would recommend.

Superb company to deal with, I had an issue with one of my doors after 4 years & they replaced it without quibble. They came when they would come, did what they said they would do, & were polite & professional throughout. The door failure was unfortunate, but their response was top notch !!

I can’t speak highly enough about the after-sales service of Benlowe. We moved into a 10yr old house that was originally fitted out with Benlowe windows. We identified some minor issues and contacted Nikki at Benlowe, who arranged for a skilled chap called Scott to come out and assess the work. He then returned with the necessary parts and fixed the problems. All in all an excellent service and I would have no hesitation in recommending Benlowe.

Absolutely rubbish. Avoid at all costs. We moved into our new home with windows supplied & fitted be benlowe. 2 we’re already damaged @ 1 failed (shattered) within days. Be low didn’t want to know but eventually changed then after serious arguments & threats from the building company.
We’ve just had another big window shatter. Again benlowe don’t want to know & want me to pay for a replacement. It’s only 3 years old & wouldnt come out to measure for a replacement. Benlowe have come up with all sorts of excuses including “a rapid change of temperature “ which there wasn’t. There engineer has just been to replace it, they’ve ordered the wrong size! He confirmed it failed due to a fault or pressure when fitted. Benlowe don’t want to know.
They are rubbish. Use them at your peril.

Our house has Benlowe windows, approx 15 year old and still in great condition. They helped out with a some minor replacement seals and hinges and were great.
