After a few months of design work led by RESI during 2023 we eventually employed BHM Developments in December to build our ground floor rear extension and they started on time in March 2024. A series of milestone payments were agreed and as the build progressed during the spring and summer, BHM delivered what they said they would in a timely manner, their onsite team attending regularly, whilst maintaining a high quality of workmanship. Understandably a few problems were encountered here and there but the onsite team led by Ali and Mani were very accommodating and professional about resolving these, occasionally working on weekends or late into the evenings to get a specific job completed.

Additional to the contracted first fix build we also engaged BHM to deliver the floor and toilet tiling and kitchen installation and were very pleased with the finished results.

Finally I would like to thank everyone in BHM who made this beautiful extension for us. Particularly to the onsite team who worked incredibly hard, sometimes in appalling weather and to Bashaar for his thoroughly professional and personable leadership.

We would absolutely employ BHM again.

BHM constructed a new extension in the side-return adjoining the rear extension of our ground-floor flat in a Camden Victorian terrace, also replacing the rear extension's old flat roof and its original side wall. We lived in the remaining rooms during the work. The whole team were dedicated (working even bank holidays) as well as being delightfully nice and polite, making all required adjustments without demur. The overall manager, Bashaar, was great: courteous, kind, flexible, helping with every question we raised. All on time and on budget. We actually missed them when they'd finished!

BHM successfully completed a side return for our garden flat in Kensal Rise. We aimed to renovate the entire flat, but we had to keep to a modest budget and a tight deadline. BHM's quote and deadline estimates were both accurate – projected at 4-6 months – and they delivered on time, completing the project in just 5 months and within budget.
Bashaar proved to be a valuable source of knowledge. He not only listened to our needs but also understood how to achieve the desired finish in a sensible and practical manner, all while staying within the specified budget and timeline. When faced with challenges, Bashaar demonstrated resourcefulness by collaborating with structural engineers to devise clever workarounds.
Communication with Bashaar was seamless, as he was always accessible by phone or text. The hardworking team, led by our main contractor Harry, consistently arrived on site before 8 am and often worked until 6 pm or until the task was completed. Harry's exceptional building skills and commitment ensured that we met crucial milestones. The entire team, including Sam, displayed friendliness, politeness, and a high level of competence in their respective roles.
We appreciated the team's flexibility. For instance, when we decided to add underfloor heating to the kitchen extension, they not only accommodated this change but also extended the heating into the bathroom.
The final result exceeded our expectations, transforming our once drab flat into a bright and spacious garden flat of the quality we desired. I highly recommend Bashaar and the team at BHM and would not hesitate to engage them for my next project.

Following an excellent front drive re-build we asked Bash and his team to convert our garage into a music room. We wanted to preserve the Edwardian character of our home and build a sympathetic extension with the same carved stone detailing and period brick work. Bash and his team did an exceptional job in creating a beautiful extension which is both period correct and practical. Not only that, they care deeply about the quality of the end product and ensure high quality throughout. I would heartily recommend BHM for any residential development.
