I had my motor home MOT'd here the other day. Martin the examiner, was informative, helpful and diligent. He failed it but showed my why (a simple loose tow bar lighting fitting) we deemed a fail by VOSA . I got it sorted out and returned it where he of course passed it. Very fair service and helpful staff, no reason to not take your vehicle to them.

Less than 20 hours before work commences we have an anonymous note through the door. Phone no. doesn't answer, no email and no name so even if you get through, who do you talk to? The writer obviously believes their missive to be self explanatory. It isn't. Working with the council - great minds, or in this case not so great minds, think alike.

Honest mot technician's picked up on dangerous things that Stoneacre technician's ignored just to avoid doing warranty repairs. Thanks via east Midland's you now have a new regular customer.

This site is operated by Via, an arm of Nottinghamshires County Council. They deal with the councils vehicles maintenance and repairs, in addition they look after the road network in Nottinghamshire. An MOT testing station is also on site. A training centre is on site that operates such things as CPC training and first aid courses (open to the general public). A well presented cafe is on offer for visitors to the site as well as employees, meals are freshly cooked on site, it has vending machines and TV.

A promised and agreed job has never been finalised by VIA. This is in spite of several letters to them to complete their agreement.

DO NOT LET THEM HAVE ANY PAYMENT FOR SERVICES UNTIL ALL IS COMPLETED TO YOUR SATISFACTION.
