Just wanted to share my experience with BMW Windows in Pelton Fell. Their service was outstanding from start to finish. The team was professional, courteous, and efficient, providing expert advice on double glazing options for my home. The quality of their work is top-notch, and I'm thrilled with the results. We had a post up here for nearly a year showing the water pouring in through the roof of our extension which BMW took nearly nine months to complete. We had over 3000 views. They had appalling customer service then and we were glad when it was done and they were out of our lives. Over the last two months we've noticed that the flooring in the extension has started to lift and the floor was becoming very spongy. There was a loud cracking noise not so long ago and on inspection we realised that water was coming in under the doors. We contacted BMW nearly three weeks ago and they sent out someone the next day to take a look. He told us that they have not supported the sliding doors properly so the windows and sill are tilting into the interior. Because of this all the rain water on the sill runs into the house. We will need to have everything taken out and the floor lifted to investigate. Since then we have heard nothing. So we plan to upload for everyone's enjoyment all the photos of their work we took over the time they were with us until they contact us and tell us when they plan to sort this out. We hope our images will serve as a warning to future customers.

If I could award minus stars - I definitely would!!!!! A word of advice - AVOID!

May 2022 I contacted BMW to let them know marks had appeared on my front door, without seeing it John (company owner) blamed us for using an unsuitable cleaner - this immediately set off alarm bells - so I made notes of every date, time and staff member I spoke to or dealt with, resulting in 16 pages of A4 paper - notes over the 2 years.

This is absolutely no criticism to the team that carried out the work, fitting all windows and the door - they were faultless and excellent 👍.

For 2 years John has fobbed me off - talking about solutions to repair/replace the door, which - he did try some things, but when he couldn't do what he said, he blamed the company/manufacturer he worked with saying because of their shoddy work - his business was getting a bad name and as they were damaging his reputation, he was going to cease working with them.

On numerous occasions, we visited the factory - at John's request saying he had our replacement door
1 door was wrong design
1 door was chocolate brown, not rosewood
1 door had wrong glass in
Eventually John said he had our door, so we went to the factory and said it looked the correct shade/colour, but couldn't 100% say it was, until we saw it beside our original door and window frames - when the fitters came - the new frame was the correct colour, but the door was a totally different colour/shade, so I asked the fitters to take the door back to the factory.

I rang Trading Standards who addressed my complaint - John said he had done everything he possibly could and that we had agreed (in the factory) the door was correct - any competent workman would not send a door out to be fitted with a different shade of rosewood frame, (which John did), I asked the fitters to leave the original door Insitu and take the incorrect door back to the factory - so John now refuses to do anything more to honour his guarantee!

Now a window seal has blown, I sent pictures to BMW as requested, heard nothing, 3 weeks later I chased this up - to be told - John refuses to do any more for me, because I involved Trading Standards!!!!!!!

Take note - all 5* reviews are more recent - sad to say - wait until they have an issue in a couple of years.

John has not honoured his guarantee and taken a "man-huff", all because I sought further advice after 2 years of stress + upset.

John - please do not insult me any further by replying to this very true review - as said, I have 16 pages of notes and you blame everyone else for your poor customer service.

We recently ordered some French doors and a new front door. The fitter arrived and unfortunately got out of his van to access our security gates. Five seconds later his van smashed into our electric gates and crashed into the side of our house. If this wasn't bad enough, the owner claimed no responsibility for his fitter nor the van which is sign written with his company logo. He did however, offer to help as much as he could. What we weren't expecting was for his fitter to fit the French doors with the wrong panels that were apparently temporary. It's now been over a month, no apology or communication from their fitter and we have over £60,000 worth of damage to the side of house, the incorrect panels in our French doors and no sign of a front door and absolutely zero communication. Would I recommend this company? 100% not.

Windows and doors supplied and fitted! Had an issue yesterday when the glass company BMW get their supplies from had done the wrong sizes

However, BMW have just been out to fit the replacements today so super quick so I’m very pleased

Appreciate the quick turn around from BMW and glass company used!

Had a couple of windows fitted from BMW Stella Gill Chester Le Street.
One of them a bow window which was replacing an old bow that we’d had from a different company. The difference in quality and workmanship is far superior. We absolutely love them and had lots of compliments from people passing by. The fitters were very hard working, never stopped. Cleaned everything up, even fitted our blinds back up again.
Can’t praise this company enough and would highly recommend.
