We are absolutely in love with our house that we have purchased from Bridge Homes. Mark has been absolutely amazing to us throughout the whole process as first time buyers! Any questions we had he assisted without hesitation. Lisa has also been incredible to us. We were kept up-to-date with the progress of the build throughout.

Having lived in the house four weeks, we simply don’t have any complaints! Any issues (minor) were actioned within days. We have had an amazing first experience as first time buyers and we would highly recommend Bridge Homes to anyone and even more to first time buyers as they made our experience that less scary!

Bridge homes have been excellent to us over the last two years. We have come back to them several times whilst waiting for a new development to be built and they have always been more than helpful. Then when we finally found the right plot for us Mark and Lisa were more than happy to help. They have kept us updated throughout the build and really looked after us when the original buyer of our current house pulled out at the last minute. We now get regular updates on the build and feel like we will have no problems in the future. These are like no other new build home providers out there, you get genuine people who really do make it their mission to provide an excellent service.

Long Post

I would like to begin by noting that while Bridge Homes can be considered a commendable choice, it falls slightly short of receiving a perfect five-star rating. While my partner has expressed strong dissatisfaction and rated them only one star, I've had to compensate as I believe they deserve a higher rating.

Anyway... let's start with the goodies.

The houses themselves are quite remarkable, boasting distinctive characteristics such as high ceilings, large windows that provide abundant natural light, and exquisite premium finishes. In comparison to other newly built properties, these houses incorporate a wide range of premium elements, including superior tiling and flooring, German kitchens, and high-quality appliances. Additionally, Bridge Homes' estates are relatively small to medium-sized, which is a rare quality in a mass-market and consumer world, offering the opportunity to acquire a well-sized garden plot, particularly advantageous for those early purchasers, without incurring any additional charges.

Now the baddies

SNAGS! Despite the considerable period of 2.5 years since acquiring the keys, there remain outstanding matters that require attention from Bridge Homes. The process of rectifying these issues can be significantly delayed, necessitating frequent follow-ups on the part of the homeowner. In some instances, I have taken it upon myself to address and resolve the problems personally. Although Bridge Homes promptly addresses critical matters such as leaking pipes, jammed locks, and heating problems, non-essential concerns demand considerable patience on the part of the homeowner.

Advice to Bridge

In light of these challenges, I would like to offer a couple of suggestions to Bridge Homes.

Firstly, the option of a cash reimbursement for unresolved issues could be presented to customers, allowing them to choose between waiting for the necessary repairs or undertaking them independently at their own convenience.

Secondly, providing greater flexibility regarding modifications during the construction phase would be beneficial. For instance, I have encountered a situation where Bridge Homes installed a small electric vehicle (EV) socket, but I required a larger one. In such cases, allowing homeowners to cover the cost of parts while solely obtaining the specific modifications they desire could prove advantageous.

Finally but not least, it is worth acknowledging the exceptional friendliness and professionalism of Bridge Homes' staff members that I got to talk with, namely Lisa, Susan, Mark, and Tom. Their work ethic deserve recognition and praise.

Our experience thus far of Bridge Homes has been extremely positive. Mark Stones, the sales advisor at the Springfield development, has been amazing from the very first appointment we had through to our reservation today. He has been super helpful and has explained everything very clearly.

The specifications inside the house are of a much higher standard than other house builders and they are selling at a very competitive rate. Definitely recommend.

We bought our house from Bridge last year. Initially we were pleased with the house and the pre sales experience, but disappointed by the customer care team. While before you buy everyone is nice and keeps you updated by phone and email, after sale no one answers phones or emails when you have a problem. We moved in more than one year ago and our snag list is still open, with the majority of issues unresolved. I've send them tons of emails asking for progress on this issues, but really difficult to hear back from them. I understand most of them are minor, but more than one year and still not sorted, that's not reasonable anymore!
We also had an issue with a broken pipe, which is a bit concerning to have a broken pipe in a brand new home, makes you question about the integrity of the work. The pipe has been repaired in a timely manner but they left the walls unpainted. After 2 months of chasing with emails and phones, we ended up fixing by ourselves.
I'm sorry for this bad review as they've been so nice and understanding before sale.
I'm happy to update my review in the future if my opinion changes.

We've had a poor experience with Bridge Homes throughout the post sales process and it has come to the point now where they simply do not reply to update requests regarding outstanding remedial works reported over six months ago.
