Had issues with a wet floor and had 2 guys come out and fix it via Guinness Housing. They were really nice and friendly. Totally gutted and replaced the floor and left my bathroom spotless. Very happy with the job they did. Many thanks to the 2 guys who sorted the issue. Definitely worth 5 stars ? ? ? ? ?

I work in Building Control and Building Surveying.

As such, I had notified my housing association of defects on their property which required attention.

They appointed Brooks Construction who sent 2 employees, Steve and Albie.

These 2 "gentlemen" have been recorded on cctv swearing and making derogatory comments about the building's residents, whom they do not know personally and have never met.

They swore into a security camera (aimed at the resident) and manhandled the camera to force it to face the wall.

Private property which they have no right to touch or damage.

They also accepted money from a mentally disturbed woman to use the company vehicle to fly tip her waste in the surrounding woodland.

I called Brooks Construction today to advise them of the rude and unprofessional conduct of their employees and was assured the matter would be looked into and I would be called back.

I have not been contacted.

It would appear the attitude of this entire business is unprofessional, therefore I would strongly advise anyone looking for a professional builder to look elsewhere.

I will also advise anyone I know in the Construction industry to avoid this business, and I would certainly hope not to come across this business in a professional capacity in the future.
