We commissioned James to apply for retrospective planning permission in a conservation area, which was highlighted when selling our home. James carried out this work and submitted the plans in record time scales. He was professional and supportive throughout the process. He kept in close communication with us and liaised with the council on our before to alleviate our stress. We would highly recommend Carvell Associates.

We approached Carvell Associates regarding a possible loft extension project and have had excellent, honest advice throughout the process. After some initial scoping sessions and site visits we were very pleased with our bespoke 3D model which helped to show us the possible designs and also helped us to understand the structural requirements for the project. At every stage the communication from Carvell associates has been excellent and we would highly recommend their services.

James was the third architect we had come out to the property, not only did he put us at ease straightaway he came up with numerous ideas and possibilities. We really wanted someone to guide us, he didn’t shoot any of our ideas down he worked with us and opened our eyes to other options. I could not recommend him enough.
