Absolutely appalled by my experience with Celsius Doors. When my warehouse roller shutter broke, my staff called them (their sticker was on the door from years ago). Two engineers arrived, couldn’t fix it, and spent just 20 minutes lowering the door to secure the warehouse. No rates or prices were mentioned before, during, or after the visit.

A week later, I received a bill for £550—completely out of line, especially considering a similar call-out last year with another company cost just £150. To make matters worse, they quoted £4,500 to replace the door springs, when a *brand new* door costs only £1,600. I actually had the works done for £1050 inc VAT which highlights the scale of this extortion. When I challenged the invoice, I was met with rudeness from a director and was threatened with legal action. When I received a letter from their solicitor i formally disputed it stating: No contract, agreement, or prior notice of fees was provided at the time the services were arranged. My response ended the issue and Celsius retracted their invoice, but the whole experience was stressful and felt like an attempted rip-off.

In my opinion, Celsius Doors are unprofessional and predatory—avoid at all costs.

Asked them to quote for my requirement for a residential roller shutter. The actual big cheese, Managing Director, Richard Meldrum visited my site, took measurements, said it was an easy job and would cost in the region of £2-3K. He said I would receive the formal quote within a week. After 3 weeks I again called Celcius office sales dept. Informed them that I was still waiting for the quote and the sales person said it must be a memory lapse of their boss and they would ensure that a quote would be emailed by the end of the day. That was two weeks ago, and nada! This is obviously a company that has zero idea of customer value and service. Pity for them as one of my local warehousing investments has just placed a £160,000 order with another company. Do not waste your time with these amateurs! They are a complete waste of time!

Absolutely top notch service. New workshop door fitted in doubke quick time and excellent work to even finish off areas ariynd the door that were present before fitting.
Also asked them to look at a showroom shutter that was not working. Came out within few hours and rectified this with a tempory fix and advised the parts required to sort permantly. Temp fix is still working although parts ordered to fix. Thanks again for professional service.

*** UPDATE DUE TO CELSIUS DOORS REPLY ***

This was not an emergency call out as given as reason by Celsius for charge, I called Sunday but you didn't come out until the next day.

Also, your engeneer didn't have the required parts to fix our door thus wasting our time but he apologied, we are fair people and said no problem. We asked can you provide the required quotes that he suggested and he left.

If I had know what would result, I should have been invoicing Celsius for wasting my time. But crazily I get an invoice from you. Like I said in my email, I won't be paying this invoice. If you'd like to take me to court, I'd love to see you there!

Asked for Celsius Doors to come out and look at our Warehouse roller door. They did and provided a quote for upgrading the door as this is what they said was needed. We went to our landlord who refused the works. We went back to Celsius who said it would be 466 Inc vat for a basic repair so we then shopped around, another repairer fixed it for 140 all in. This was aroubd a month ago. Today we find a bill for 107 from Celsius which seems to me like a fine for not taking up your quote...
