New roof and guttering and loft work all completed in the limited time we had available thanks to Luke and Trevor working so hard to complete. The job was done with care and obvious pride in a very tidy and thoughtful manner. Luke very willing to explain all the processes and we also just enjoyed his company in any free time that was available. The job was completed to our full satisfaction and Luke even tidied away a few extra jobs, with no charge, while up on the scaffold. I would have no hesitation in recommending Challis!

We had the whole roof stripped off and a new breathable membrane was put on. Also some new batons were put in place and some rotten wood replaced. The usable tiles were cleaned and put back on, we also had several rows of brand new tiles. Also new ridge tiles and dry fix ridge system. Good job. Polite, efficient team.

Challis Building and roofing have been absolutely brilliant from start to finish renewing our roof, facias & soffits. Luke and Trevor are very polite and knowledgeable, It's clear they take great pride in their work and we have been really impressed all the way though. They tidied up when finished everyday and left the areas clean and tidy. Nothing was ever a fuss or too much to ask & I really cant give them high enough praise. we will certainly reach out if and when we need any more building / Roofing work in the future. Thanks again!

I can't thank Luke and Trevor enough for our recent roof/loft work. They are the nicest, most genuine team I've ever met. Their passion, drive, tenacity and hard work make Challis Building and Roofing Contractors a million star business! Roofing in an unusual 28 degree heat can't be easy, and dealing with a very picky client too! I asked late into the job for time consuming changes, but nothing was too much trouble for Luke and Trevor; "No worries was always their response". Luke kept in contact from initial quotation until the job was finished and went above and beyond to acquire materials during the recent shortage. The work was finished to a high standard, on time and on budget. I highly recommend Challis and I hope that our paths cross in future work together.

We are very happy with our new roof and newly repointed chimneys from Challis. Luke comes across as very knowledgeable, especially regarding the properties of local stone and how it should be protected etc. I'm not an expert on roofs, but I think our looks great, and finished to a high standard. I would also say the post completion service from Challis has been very good too
