James and his team have been fantastic. We’ve had various projects (roof, a porch and lastly the driveway) completed over the last couple of years and the standard of work is amazing. I would definitely recommend James for any kind of building project as he really knows his stuff and can tackle really tricky projects. If I could give more than 5 stars in this review I would!!

I have known Jim at Charterhouse Roofing for many years and he and his team have always done an excellent job. He is knowledgeable and skilled in his trade. Jim and his team have fixed/repaired/updated parts of the roof of my previous house and garage, and done repairs, chimney removal, gutter replacement and external drain clearance on my present house. They are always pleasant, responsive and professional and quote a fair price. I highly recommend them.

I engaged the services of Mr James Wenman of Charterhouse Roofing & General Builders to do some repairs and tweaks to our vented dry-ridge roof such as widening the valleys, re-fixing some of the existing hip & ridge tiles and conduct a general inspection amongst other things.

I found James to be outstanding in terms of his excellent and professional quality of service especially his patience and time taken to explain the technical side of things to me. What a pleasure it was to have James and his assistant undertake this project for me! I cannot recommend Charterhouse Roofing & General Builders highly enough!

I have been using Jim and his team from Charterhouse Roofing & General Builders for more than 10 years now for various serious roofing repairs on my properties. He has also worked for friends and neighbours where I have recommended him.

Yes, he is very knowledgeable and professional, but he is also a pleasure to deal with even in very difficult situations. He can be booked up when you need him, but I always join the queue, rather than go elsewhere.
