Ricky and Junior helped us with our house extension in 2017-2018 - 1st floor extension, plus addition of roof lanterns on the existing ground floor extension. They were fantastic from start to finish, guiding us through the extension process, handling all the planning and coordination of trades, negotiating prices for us with suppliers, and taking a lot of the stress away!

They were polite, cleaned the space every day after leaving the house, and also came up with innovative ideas to ensure we could stay in the house for as long as we could (having a new born and an under 2 years, so not wanting to move into my mum's 2 bedroom flat too early).

I would happily recommend them.

Cherished Buildings built our rear extension and totally transformed the rear of our house. Ricky, Ben and their team were very professional and kept us up to date throughout the build overcoming any extra work or changes we threw at them. We were so pleased with their work we also had a downstairs loo installed in the utility room and a new patio laid which entailed quite a lot of digging out and landscaping. All the work was finished to a high standard in the estimated time frame, at a reasonable cost and we could not be happier.
I would have no reservations in recommending them to friends and family and will have them back as soon as I can to re lay my garage floor.

Cherished have just completed our double story wraparound extension and we're delighted with it. We felt like we hit the jackpot with Ben and Ricky. They were on time and on budget, easy to work with, polite, good with the neighbours and always went above and beyond.

We lived in the house the whole time (6 months) and they always made sure we had a bathroom and a washing machine plumbed in - they were the only builders who were happy and accommodating about us staying in the house, saving us thousands on rent elsewhere. Genuinely don't think we could have had better builders to guide us through developing our forever home.

Having received quotes and speaking to a number of builders about our project, Ricky and Junior were the obvious choice answering all questions from both of us. They were happy to take us and show us completed an ongoing projects. You could tell their clients were very pleased with their work and couldn’t praise them enough. Ricky and Junior were very professional from the onset and made the process as stress free as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them, recommending local suppliers and even going with us to look at doors, tiles etc. An excellent rapport when dealing with building inspectors was invaluable in delivering the project. We are very pleased with the work that Ricky and Junior have done for us and cannot recommend them highly enough and would not hesitate in using them again.

Cherished Buildings were recommended through our architects, along with a number of other builders. Ricky and Junior were great from the outset, encouraging us to visit and speak to clients who they were currently building an extension for. Their price seemed good value and seeing their current work gave us the confidence to go ahead. I'm so pleased that we did. The work we had carried out involved the remodeling of our downstairs, removing structural walls including chimney and installing steelwork, replacing staircase etc. Aside from doing a great job, timing of the project was also key for us as we needed to move out of our house whilst the work was undertaken. Ricky and Junior delivered on their commitment and after 8 weeks we were able to move back in. Communication along the way was great, sending us pictures on progress and always discussing with us first any issues that arose. Our neighbours were very complimentary of the builders which meant a lot to us as we wanted to minimise as much disruption for them as possible. Undertaking building work is always very stressful but Ricky and Junior were always available to answer questions and their good humour certainly helped us through the project.
